Consumer review (newegg.com)

I was very surprised!

I would recommend it, but my experience was a lot better than many others. I took a risk and it paid off for me when I got this. But there are mixed results of it working so this is a risk to buy. Otherwise I am happy with these.

When I received this over 4 years ago, nothing was damaged at all. Everything came perfectly. The moment I plugged these suckers, the quality of the sound blew me out of the water. They lasted me a hell of a lot longer than I thought they were gonna...

The sub woofer started making odd sounds along with the base after like daily use of almost 5 years. I turned down the base which fixed it, but yeah xp

Eh

Sound OK if you don't know sound. Missing a good amount of midrange and has way too much base.

The remote is junk that comes with it. You have to get up to change the volume. The internal screen had fallen off on the inside.

Almost DOA

I bought these while I was on the road so I would have them when I got home. Since it's past the 30 days (45 days) I can't return or replace them. I guess I'm out $100. This is the first time in 9 years I have been disappointed by Newegg's return policy.

2nd day after I hooked these up they started emitting a hum that was louder than the audio. The same sound came out if I muted them, or unplugged the audio source.

Worst Speakers Ever

Eagle makes electronic garbage.

None, unless you like farty subs, short cables, and volume controls that reset every time you turn the system off.

Everything, the sub is awful and sounds massive farts, even with the bass turned all the way down. The volume control is horrible... buttons? The speaker cables are short and hard wired into the back of speakers, a sign of cheapness. Everytime you turn...

Save your money!

Put your money toward a better quality unit. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Good sound quality at low volumes. "Very low bass setting"

Bass quality is terrible if your volume is more than half way and your bass setting is above half way. Any more than half way, the subwoofer will distort very badly and rattle. Remote is pointless as you have to hold it directly in front of the unit...

Don't do it

Really poor buttons and power filtering which, in an audio system, ultimately lead to a pile of junk...in a short period of time. Spend a little more on something more permanent.

Kickin sound

Poor build quality that will cause component failure

Epic

I have it all 5 eggs because of the awesome sound quality vs price. You cant beat these speakers for the price.

The bass is super smooth, and the satellites are crisp and clear.

The wires are a bit short, and the speakers are EXTREMELY directional based so sometimes it sounds like you dont hear anything out of one satellites, but if just placed awkwardly.

Eagle ET-AR508LR-BK

Sound is great along with the bass. I'm able to hear things in music and movies that I never heard before.

Short cables but you can easily replace them. The remote uses the same frequency as the verizon fios STB which interferes with this and changes the volume. The only reason I returned them.

Poor Quality control!

I think the quality control where these are made could use some major motivation! There is not reason a clearly non-working defective speaker should ever be allowed to leave an assembly line!

These speakers are very powerful and have a super powerful sub woofer. They have brilliant crystal clear satellite speakers. The remote control makes setting the bass, mid range, and highs easy. Better have plenty room for the sub though as it is...

The speakers came in defective as one of the satellites had a major defect. Snapped, crackled, and popped, would not play hardly at all. Also the speaker wires are very short and need to be longer for sure. They are about 2.5-3 feet long if that and are...
