Genelecs, and this model in particular, have become ubiquitous over the last decade; having, thankfully, replaced the Yamaha NS-10M. I think that is the role to which they are the best suited- a standard speaker. While I prefer any number of my own...

I'm using these speakers for few months now , combined with Audio-production PC , and I use them for monitoring my music production. I use multiple rythm machines ,and VST effects and i cant't find not one bad thing about this speakers.....in few words...

Their strenght is really their clarity of high tones and endless depth of bass driver

You could get permanent hearing damage if you take them too far ! Trust me , i came too close on few occasions ....They are pretty expensive but worth every bloody dollar that you work for
