Well-built - - - POORLY designed

I would give this 5 stars if you could actually use it and the Sansa together. It snaps on tight and seems great for the player's protection. Still allows all controls to be used and the lights are fun- if you're into "fun". :-) BUT you have to...

Find something better

The fact that this pops open and closed just doesn't work. My Sansa has acquired a couple of scratches on the screen from when I've dropped it in the parking lot or on a tile floor and the case just pops open and spills the Sansa out. What use is a...

Protects from superficial scratches.

Thick and cluncky. Has a tendency to pop open if you drop it on a hard surface.

GRIFFIN 8095-SNSADSK Polycarbonate Case with lights for Sansa

The plastic is kind of thick, which adds protection, but also a lot of bulk. It also makes pressing the buttons harder.

Seems to offer good protection, has a covering over the screen. The lights are kind of cute if you're into that sort of thing.

The lights can get kind of annoying. It snaps closed, so I'm not sure if it would stay together if, say, you dropped it on the pavement. I also find it slightly disconcerting that there's no covering over the microSD port.

Waste of Money

I definitely would not have bought this had I known how poopy it is. Even at half off, it's not worth it. Find something else.

Uhh, it protects it.

It's ugly, big, and doesn't seem that well made.

More fun than functional

More fun than functional

This case does give added protection to your player, but also adds more bulk. Having said that, it is fun and cute. I don't know that I would have bought one for myself, but I got it as a gift and I like it.

Cannot plug it into power with the case on

Cannot plug it into power with the case on

The case feels sturdy enough and looks good, but the battery case for the LEDs adds unecessary size to the player, and worse, you can no longer plug the Sansa to power or a USB connection while the case is on, as it blocks the bottom port of the Sansa.
