JBL Spyro

Virtually identical in price to the JBL Sound Sticks II, the Spyros sound almost as good but are lacking a bit in ergonomic design.

No obvious distortion at maximum volume. Powerful subwoofer. Ideal for pop, rock, or rap. Small desktop speakers save space.

No visual meter for volume. Aside from volume, all other controls are on subwoofer. Touch-sensitive volume controls are not sensitive enough. Speakers are too light.

Virtually identical in price to Harman/Kardon's Sound Sticks II, the Spyros sound almost as good but are lacking a bit in ergonomic design.

One of the best two-speaker systems for the price!

The speakers are pretty elegant with rounded corners and it is a no-brainer to set it up, I must comment that the silver volume control is really slippery and the speaker keeps moving away from me when I try to turn the speakers on. These speakers...

Sounds much bigger than it looks and sounds pretty good while at it

Volume control is slippery, non-removeable grille makes it sound worse

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage

When Spyro made his debut last year, he was excepted quite nicely. He acted as Sony's newest mascot, and his game entitled Spyro the Dragon was Sony's answer to Nintendo's Banjo-Kazooie. The game had it's share of flaws, but it excelled in it's visuals...

The control is somewhat the issue in the game. The cameras may have needed a little more touching upon. They move way to fluidly, and playing the game can at times feel like you are playing a first person with average cameras. Although the cameras are...

JBL Spyro Subwoofer

Equally viable as speakers for an MP3 player or computer, JBL's quirky Spyro subwoofer plus twin satellites are a classy production all the way up from the pleasing orange celloglazed cube of packaging bearing giant images of the frankly odd speakers...

JBL

I like them though. I heard others talking about the bass isn't good. I don't have a clue what there talking about. It's a 12w per channel 2.0 system, spend $400 more and get the heavy wall pounding bass if that's what you want. The bass is excellent I...

Decent looking, Lights don't blind you at night, conveniently small, light weight, and good sound for a 2.0, 12w speaker. much better then my old 1w, 2.0 usb powered speakers. Nice rubber feet hold them in place while you turn the volume

About the only problem I can find is the volume knob is small, and hard to get a whole of, I would have preferred a bigger one, easier too grab and more volume control accuracy. Second problem is it says made in China on the back. Maybe too much bass...

Nice Speaker

Good for college students.

Pretty good. Cheap, nice sound quality, low electric demand, and low in weight. Your choice

When you put your cell phone near it, you will know what the hell gonna happen

I love these, unfortunatly

I got these as a gift after I bought my iMac. I initally hated the idea of having speakers on my desk, as I like a clean workspace. Well, I gave them a try before returning them and they are amazing! Such clean sound across the full range regardless of...

clean, deep bass for a 2.0 set ; not bad to look at ; small ; clean sound at all ranges, even when you crank them up full blast

They do not defy physical law and therefore occupy space

A little bit disappointed

These speakers are nice and small

They don't have near the sound quality as some decent Logitech speakers that I have

These bring the noise

Accept no substitutes. This set will take your audio to new heights.

For such a small size these things are incredibly LOUD. Surprisingly enough, they don't distort though, even with all the volume levels maxed out. The bass from the cool-looking woofer is nice and deep, with plenty of punch. Long story short, these are...

The touch controls take a little getting used to
