This item is horrible!

Do NOT BUY this speaker set. It is a Hercules product which should be good quality. But that is only in theory, not in reality. The sound was awful and it kept giving out in the right speaker. It was either defective or just a very poor quality...

decent speaks

I'd buy them again. For the price, they sound great. These are the perfect speakers for your grandfather's computer so he can hear the AOL noises, or for your luddite girlfriend to listen to Bon Iver.

They sound great for cheap 2.0 speakers ; Bass response is surprisingly good for small speaks. They don't distort as much as I expected them to at higher volumes ; Definitely on the higher end of the low to to middle price point speaks

They are definitely low-end speakers, and sound just a bit brassy. If you have an audiophile bone in your body, don't buy these for anything but a stop-gap, or for listening to talk radio

Very nice speakers

These do not have a lot of bass, but that makes sense since it is a 2.0 system and not a 2.1. If you are concerned about bass, go with a 2.1 system. If you just need speakers for daily music and videos, these will definitely be good for you.

These speakers are perfect for anyone looking for nice looking and nice sounding speakers at a great price ; The look of these speakers is real sleek, and the build quality is excellent. The speakers do not feel cheaply built or put together

XPS 2.100 Silver's lightweight satellite speakers demonstrate Hercules' commitment to providing the most advanced and practical technology for audiophiles and family use.With 12.5 Watts RMS of amplification apiece, these 2-way satellites feature 1" neodymium drivers, providing power equivalent to that supplied by conventional ferrite magnets three times larger for the ultimate in space-saving performance.Each 120g satellite is held firmly upright by a 200g circular metal base 10cm in diameter, providing perfect balance to avoid accidents; the base can also be tilted for wall attachment. A cross over the drivers protects the vibrating membrane from contact with fingers, a useful feature in homes where children often use the family PC. A magnetic shield protects the PC monitor and storage media from any magnetic disturbances.XPS 2.100 Silver's integrated amplifier delivers 35 Watts RMS of power to the subwoofer and 12.5 Watts RMS for each of the satellites. The 4Kg subwoofer reproduces frequencies from 30 to 150Hz without wind noise, thanks to the large diameter of its bass reflex tube. For extra security, the subwoofer's driver is protected by a non-removable metal grid.The kit's ergonomic remote control features an on/off switch and a blue LED for monitoring the power status. It also includes a stereo jack for connecting a headset, as well as volume, treble and bass controls. The power supply is conveniently located inside the subwoofer's casing, eliminating the bother and extra space required by an external power adapter.
