Usually cheaper speakers have a very high pitched tone but I find this is well balanced. Although it doesn't get very loud, but what do you expect? It uses 4 Aa batteries, compared to my last speakers that only used 2. This is the only bad thing about...

Bought this for a PC I'm building for one of my grandchildren. As she's only young, and the system is pink, this seemed an ideal way to get any sound from her system.

I got this so I can listen to my ipod in the bathroom (while bathing!), I don't want to get a shock from the ipod dock. It works really well, the sound is quite loud from such a small gizmo. I also plug it into my laptop sometimes to get more sound....
