Jamo Studio 180 - (Floorstanding Speakers)

Jamo Studio 180

Bought these for my first system coupled with a Sony TA-FE330R amp and a Sony XE220 CD player. Fairly Budget amp and cd player but with decent speakers they sing pretty well. With the Jamo Studio 160's they did anything but sing. No matter what you...

Pretty big MDF cabinet so would burn pretty well ; Go fairly loud if thats all your worried about

Awful thin hissy treble ; Hard to drive ; Low levels of bass ; Midrange sounded narrow ; Just woeful

THEY SUCK! These speakers are really bad. They need a lot of power to play, have harsh, hissing treble and lack bass.

I can't really think of any strengths

Need powerful amp ; Harsh, sharp treble ; Lack bass
