These loudspeakers are used as the rear speakers of my home theater system. They just fit the purpose really well.

I got these speakers when my father moved into a smaller apartment. He was very happy with the sound and they take very little space. While they do require connections, one could argue that they sound better than the more expensive Bose compact systems.

Incredible sound. Good price. I've been wanting to buy these speakers for years, but in my country are very expensive. Finally, I travel to USA on Feb 2010 and bought them from Amazon. Now I'm enjoying them at home in Argentina. Great JBL!!!!

i bought a pair of these speakers 21 years ago and they still sound great, hanging in my garage.

I used to have really large 4 foot tall speakers, for many years. I switch to 4 of these (surround sound setup) combined with a subwoofer. These are solid construction, like a brick. I've had them now for 3 years, later added a good center channel...
