it is ok in daylight but very poor performance in low light conditions.......if planning to use at night then better to get a good one especially the Logitech Quick Cam Fusion which i got later and is the best one for me so far in the lowest of light...

This web cam has very poor picture quality. Not at all useful for chatting over web. Specially at night or low light the picture quality is horribl.

the camera shows a dark picture, even with lots of light in the room, it's also a reddish color. i recommend you pay a little extra for better quality

so far no troubles though would have been a lot better if it were auto focus
