Fantastic JBL quality

Fantastic JBL quality

Best value out there, fantastic sound. Its amazing the sound quality that comes out of these speakers, never thought a 4 1/2 woofer could produce accurate base. I added a JBL subwoofer, and it's outstanding sound. I have this in a large room, 700+ sq...

Great Value And Sound

Great Value And Sound

These speaker sounds great. Looks Good too. No problems with shielding. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they can only handle about 100 watts. When I hooked them up to my parasound amp (220 watts per channel) just for the sake of...

Outstanding!

For the cost of these speakers the output is great... I think it would suffice to say they are inline with HTD level two's, or Energy take 5.2's... You have to add a sub though! Of course many of you would disagree, but IMHO they are great!

Great speakers at a great price.

I got these for Christmas this year and... wow. Actually I coupled this set with the 10 inch subwoofer and the sound is fantastic. Sure, you could play double or triple the price and it might sound a LITTLE better, but if you're looking for an...

Real Theater sound w/sub

Real Theater sound w/sub

I've owned the JBL NSP1's since April 2000, and coupled with my Audio Source SW15 - 200watt powered sub, my blockbuster DVD's (i.e. ID4, Men in Black, etc.) sounds more impressive than the local SF Bay Area Cinema DD / DTS / SDDS Theaters - or at least...

No bass, very clear

No bass, very clear

I use the N24s for surround in my home theater and the N Center as my center channel speaker. The center speaker delivers very accurate speech and is very clear. The N24s are great for surrounds, but they are lacking for front speakers. I use the...

Product Specifications

The 2-way 4" bookshelf loudspeakers and the 2-way dual 5" center-channel loudspeaker with high-impact molded enclosure reproduce sound with unmatched clarity and power. The PolyPlas (polymer-coated cellulose fiber) cone woofer features traditional JBL engineering; the same technologies used in JBL's Professional equipment that can be found in stadiums, music halls and move theaters around the world. Shielded components allow placement near video monitors. High-temperature, oversized Kapton-voice coil and HeatScape motor structure allow these speakers to effortlessly play all types of movies and music. The FreeFlow flared port increases bass response without adding unwanted port noise. JBL's custom-designed drivers allow the use of simple, Straight-line Signal Path (SSP) crossover networks with high-quality electrical components that minimize processing that could degrade the signal. You can match these speakers with a JBL PowerBass powered subwoofer for a complete home-theater speaker system.
