JBL Studio 180

The ported design of the JBL Studio 180 allows for high-quality audio reproduction. Compared to the competition in floor standing speakers, there are definitely better products, but not at the same price. That is why this is our number one choice for...

The JBL Studio 180 has dual gold-plated binding posts

There is only a one-year warranty on these speakers

For being one of the least-expensive tower speakers we reviewed, surprisingly, the quality is still there.

JBL Studio 180

We love the upbeat approach, but their performance is too uneven to wholeheartedly recommend

Bold looks ; Energetic sound

Unpredictable nature ; Bass is often overstated ; Treble is often crude

week speakers

JBL doesn't give any kind of reliable support, they told me they could not replace the x-overs cause the didn't have anymore. If u want strong speakers don't buy these.

They sounded good while they lasted

not Newegg's fault but these speakers blew the second month I had them and JBL still wont replace the crossovers and they are still under the factory warranty all they did was send me 1 driver!, x-overs are burnt up, Iv' had another brand speakers for...

Confused

If I knew how to plug it in

I received the JBL Studio 180, that's it, no cables, no adapters, nothing. I don't know how to plug it in to my computer

Out Standing

Great sound and easy to hook up. Have not tried Bi-amp set up, likely blow the walls off my apt. Fantastic deal, I purchased on special and paid less for the pair than Brick and Mortar stores wanted for just one. Outstanding

None yet, but my downstairs neighbor might have a complaint or two

Good value

>> Even tho they include a 6.5inch sub that can be connected separately (bi-wired), the lowest frequency is only 45hz, which force me to set my avr crossover at 60hz and I lose all the lower (20to59) frequencies. The 190 goes down to 40hz tho....

Cheap, powerful, nice sound, bi-wiring

Nothing major, AT THIS PRICE ; (see below)

JBL Studio 180

I can't believe I got these for $80 a piece. They would be a good deal at twice the price. Now I have to upgrade my cheap-@ssed Pioneer receiver so I can put these puppies through their paces. I can say this though, that the sound and volume I get out...

Well constructed cabinets and drivers. Very good low end and balanced by a bright high end that's not shrill

The speaker covers are kind of ugly, with the cheap plastic look

Great speakers for all applications.

These speakers are great for 2 channel stereo, providing plenty of bass response. Also great in a home theater set up. Couple these with the Studio 120c center channel, which is also a great speaker, and you have a fantastic front 3 speakers. The deep,...

Great bass response. Unique design that looks good with grilles on. Provides a great sound stage. Great price on these

A bit unstable on carpet. Unique design that looks weird with grilles off
