I've just recently ordered two of these. they replaced my two Sony SSF-7000 tower speaker. They have a better mid an high range than the sony. I mean for my set up. But everybody has different taste for hearing. My set up is this. STR-dh810 receiver....

Outer box wasn't properly taped,not secure and a little bit loose. Inner box(from manufacturer) have a obvious hole on it and wasn't properly taped or maybe was opened then re-taped, very likely is not a brand new item from manufacturer. one speaker...
