We got this for my parents to play their records after the old player burned up. It sounds great and does what it needs to do but wish it had an automatic start and return feature rather then doing it manually, other then that it does a good job.

This record player was worth the money. Sound quality is great. I purchased it for my own enjoyment but my family enjoys it now as well. It makes a great living room piece. My friend also told me that she will buy one just because it looks great.

Do I need to attach some kind of speakers to this turntable? It spins on a record, but no sound.

Just received this in the mail and I have been listening to my vinyl collection nonstop. Internal speakers aren't the greatest, but for the this sterling price you cannot go wrong! AM/FM radio is nice too. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

The turntable is great and I got it at very reasonable price. The only thing is that when I got it out of the box, the arm was loose and I had an awful time trying to get it back on. But besides that, I've had no problems with it.

Bought for my office at work. Simple, no-frills, and very affordable. Haven't hooked up external speakers, but I guess that would boost its use value. But for an office environment, the built-in speakers work fine.
