Good imaging, punchy and bright highs, acceptable mids (hard to find in a bookshelf unit) and rich, flat bass (also a rarity in smaller speakers)

A good buy if you want something that plays soundand sounds OK (more or less), but if you really wantto hear music, your $100 might be better spenton buying real speakers such as older EPIs or VintageAdvents on Ebay, for about the same price...

Inexpensive, decent bass for the size, works

Typical modern, cheap speakers. Low sensitivity, not greatsound

speakers are ok, rattle too much when turned up loud. they couldn't keep up with the rest of my system, so i put them as one of my rear speaker sets.as long as you don't need these as any type of "main" speaker, they will do fine.oh, and i noticed...

cheap, good at low -> medium volumes

only 140W & rattle with too much bass

Comparing all three was a mixed bag. The Cerwin Vega's definitely had the richer bass of the three but lacked mid range definition (it was only a 2 way speaker). The Sony 105's produced surprisingly good bass for their small size, although no where...

Relatively low price, respectable mids, decent bass

Highs sounded kind of harsh, may be able to EQ it out
