powerful full range main speakers

I upgraded from klipsch KG 2.5s floor standing speakers. These are compact yet powerful. Full range sound with a little to much emphasis on bass, but that is easily adjusted within the amp.

I have listened to these on both vintage and a new Pioneer receiver and they really jam. Electronic, classical, alt, jazz, Xbox and Blu rays as well, the B2's performance is AMAZING for $150. My father has a pair of $1800 Canton floorstanders, and...

Umm, Not Quite Legendary

I've been an audiophile since the 70s. Lost my cherished Epicure speakers in the divorce. Have always wanted Klipsch, and thought that these affordable speakers would sound great. In fact, they are ordinary, even muddy sounding. Really quite...

I'm using these as rear channel speakers, and after a month I think they sound great so far. The combination of performance and the low Gold Box discounted price I picked these up for has me very pleased. I would guess there is something fancier out...

Super Pounders

I recently bought thse bad boys from a posting in CL. I already have a pair of Klipsch KG .5's with a Velodyne Sub. The Klipsch B-2's shake the house to its foundation. Sometimes I listen to the Klipsch all by themselves and have found they really...

Product Specifications

The Klipsch B-2 Synergy bookshelf loudspeaker offers a winning combination of powerful bass with remarkable detail and high volumes with low distortion, making it a perfect delivery source for today's advanced digital music formats. The B-2 gets its superior sound by employing a 5.25" IMG woofer and 0.75" magnetically shielded, aluminum-dome tweeter coupled to an exclusive square Tractrix(R) Horn. It also features a rear-mounted port that increases efficiency and extends bass response. This rock-solid performer delivers all the "oomph" of movie explosions and intricate musical detail that is often associated with large floorstanding models. Available in a black finish with titanium accents, the contemporary look of the B-2 is two-fold. With its grille on, the B-2 offers a sense of elegance that nicely blends in with your home décor, but take the grille off and you get an aggressive and powerful statement that exudes extreme performance.
