Klipsch iFi

This speaker system boasts excellent, powerful sound, and it handles more than just iPods.

Excellent sound. Powerful output. Easy setup and operation.

Remote could be more full-featured. Volume control could be finer. Limited support for iPod nano.

Klipsch iFi review: Klipsch iFi

Klipsch iFi

Maxed-out 2.1-speaker system for the iPod ; a pair of two-way satellite speakers; 8-inch, 200-watt powered subwoofer; cute remote; iPod docking/charging station; two line-level inputs.

Larger size and more cables than competing iPod speaker systems.

The great-sounding Klipsch iFi is the 800-pound gorilla of iPod speakers.

Klipsch iFi iPod Speaker System

Engineered to maximize the Apple iPod and iPod Mini listening experience, the Klipsch iFi system is a plug and play setup that fits almost anywhere and in any type of environment. This 2.1 configuration comes equipped with two unobtrusive and amazing...

The only thing we like to see is the ability to hook up the control dock to the PC so we can sync the iPod to the computer. That would make the iFi near perfect. The other thing we like to see is a lower price. Don't get us wrong, we feel the iFi is...

Klipsch iFi Speaker System

High-quality 2.1 channel speaker system dedicated to iPod use by virtue of its included charging dock and RF remote control. More powerful than any iPod-specific speaker system we’ve seen, with outstanding bass and low distortion-to-volume ratio.

Weight, size, and price tag are bigger than any other iPod speaker system to date; digitally incremented low-level adjustments of both volume and bass aren’t as fine-tunable as in competing 2.1 systems; remote control is awkwardly designed and may have...

Klipsch iFi iPod Speaker System Review

The Klipsch iFi iPod music system it's the best iPod speaker system we have ever heard. It is also the most expensive iPod speaker system we have ever heard. Does the sound quality justify the $400 price?

Best sound iPod music system to date, Long range RF remote, Great dynamic range, Can be used as computer speakers

Expensive

Simply The BestIf you're an iPod user and you want the best music player money can buy, then look no further than the iFi from Klipsch. No other system has ever produced such amazing sound quality out of our Apple iPod. The iFi may not look as sleek as...

Klipsch iFi

Wrap up in a warm blanket of iPod-produced noise

Excellent sound, solid construction, intuitive design, RF remote control.

Subwoofer and satellites are huge, the LED could be clearer.

iPod-based home speaker system

The first iPod-specific home speaker system provides full, rich sound and convenient features for $400.

Best sound of any iPod-specific speaker system we've tested, including excellent bass and midrange ; convenient iPod Control Dock ; RF remote ; exceptional satellite build quality

Dock base doesn't sync iPod ; poor remote layout ; treble slightly recessed

As a result of all these "firsts," the iFi has received a good amount of attention, and been the object of much speculation, since its announcement in January of this year. Does it live up to the hype (and the price)? We got one of the first units off...

Klipsch iFi

Klipsch is an American brand you may not be familiar with but they've been around the block and more importantly the iFi has gone down a storm on the other side of the pond. It's actually been available on American soil now for around ten months but...

Bold bass and firm mids

Dissapointing design
