Klipsch KSW-10

Klipsch's Synergy Sub-10 is powerful

Amply endowed 10-inch subwoofer ; 200-watt amplifier (FTC rated) ; Versatile connectivity

The sonic match with its companion SLX speakers is far from seamless

We used the KSW-10 with a pair of Klipsch's new Synergy SLX satellite speakers. The SLXs sound great, but since they produce virtually no mid- or deep-bass on their own, they're totally dependent on the sub to flesh out the sound. The KSW-10 was mostly...

Long Lasting for me

This thing has been in business for almost 7 years and it's still pumping. It's been on the same Sony amp for this entire time, as well. It's now on a Denon, but even though my Denon does not have a LFE out (it's only a subwoofer pre-out), this sub...

It's loud, first of all. I love the lowpass adjustment so you don't need a volume knob. I have had no hiccups with the thing at all, and nor has my dad

The Auto-on sensitivity should be adjustable. It's very easy, though, to flick the switch to "ON

Poor Quality

I hooked this up in August to a new surround sound system. Driven by a Sony STR DG 820. Initially sounded great. Not exactly sure when it went dead because we only use it for movies in the basement and I may only watch a couple of movies a month....

Sounded great when it worked

Unit is now dead. LED indicator never worked even out of the box. Checked fuse- not blown. Amp is working

Klipsch Model KSW10 225W Subwoofer

Unless you purchase a very expensive home theater system, the average subwoofer is of low quality. Add this product and you will upgrade your system significantly. Well worth the price.

Relatively compact and great sound

Klipsch Model KSW10 225W Subwoofer

I replaced my stock subwoofer with this one and couldn't be happier. A good mid range priced device. Would recommend if you are not to pickey. Otherwise you will have to spend $$$$$

Lots of power. Feel room shake

Would like a little more sound. Could be that I have a large TV room

Sounds great... when it works

I bought this sub as part of a Quintet satelite package. It was my first ever powered sub in my home so I wasn't exctly sure what to expect from the sound. I connected it to my Yamaha HTR-5630 via LFE connection. Out of the box it was so quiet that it...

Sound is great

Doesn't often work

IT was so good, I bought a second to compliment it.

Easy to use and set-up. I found that using both L&R inputs makes the sound a lot 'better' than using the single (L) input only. I use Response 3's as my main (front) pair, and thought I'd never need any more bottom end, but these little buggers prov

I honestly cannot think of any

On your own

Bought it, blew it... repaired it and blew it. the OEM voice coil is about the weakest i have seen. So i kept the box, went to a car audio store and bought an Alipne Type R 10 DVC. the alpine wooffer quality is miles above the Klipsch stock. The alpine...

Heard Better

I am very disappointed with the KSW-10. When using line-level connects, I get a great deal of buzzing / Humming. Required to disconnect, because when connected, even when off, other speakers humm.

Product Specifications

The down-firing design of this Klipsch Subwoofer provides more "room-filling" bass. The high output subwoofer driver effectively couples, or grips, room air, dispersing the low frequency energy consistently throughout the room. This augments the haptic sensation and "feeling, " ensuring powerful bass performance. Santoprene rubber surround with fiber-composite cone delivers extended bass response and maximum reliability. Multiple hookup options accommodate any system configuration. It is easy to connect with LFE line level or speaker wire from any receiver or component separates. Phase and low pass filters are variable to optimize performance. LED light indicates power amplifier status.
