Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Wireless

This 2.1-channel PC speaker system may be lacking in useful controls, but it pumps out powerful, fantastic-sounding audio—wirelessly.

Excellent audio quality. Very powerful. Superb-sounding subwoofer. Sub level control on satellite speakers.

No remote control. No power control on satellite speakers. 2.4GHz wireless signal can be interrupted.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1

By no means are the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers of poor quality, but with stiff competition at the high end, we have to nitpick in order to differentiate. You can't knock the expert construction, but the price is a little too high and the low-end a...

Straightforward design; easy to install.

Low-end distortion during music playback; expensive.

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s' output quality is excellent on the whole, but a few minor problems prevent them from surpassing the competition.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Wireless Speakers

Every portable computer, from the brawniest desktop replacement to the tiniest netbook, has one thing in common: terrible speakers. There's no shortage of powered speaker systems on the market—some of which are very good—but what's the point of using a...

Wireless connection to audio source; beefy bass response; powerful and efficient amplifier

Hardwired cables in satellites; no way to lengthen right sat cable

These are great speakers and they’re reasonably priced; they’ve certainly earned a spot on our Best of the Best list.

Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1

In conclusion, the ProMedia GMX A-2.1 is a great all in one system for the average user. If your goal is a system that provides thumping bass that tends to overshadow the performance of the satellites, then this may be the setup for you.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX Certified Computer Speaker review

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX speaker delivers great sound at a good price — if you've got the space for a subwoofer and don't need Bluetooth.

Impressive bass ; Clear vocals ; Wide sound

No Bluetooth ; Could be hard to find place for subwoofer

But if you’re in the market for a 2.1 system for your desk and you don’t need Bluetooth, you’ll be happy with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX — especially at the price.

Review: Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Wireless

The wireless version of Klipsch's venerable ProMedia 2.1 speaker system lives up to its wired sibling's pedigree when it comes to audio quality, although the wireless functionality is more limited in its appeal.

The right-hand satellite also hosts an integrated pre-amp module, which connects to the subwoofer using a separate—though also permanently attached—cable. On the front panel, near the bottom of the speaker, are the main volume control and a separate...

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1

At $159.95, the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 is the least expensive speaker in this survey. A popular choice at Circuit City and Best Buy, it is also something of a standard-bearer for mass-market offerings. The Klipsch looks and operates exactly as one would...

Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1

A recent survey held in the UK showed that more and more people are staying in at the weekend than ever before, and as a result a lot of the money spent on nightclubs and cinemas has instead been invested on home theatre and home entertainment systems....

If I had to sum up the GMX A-2.1 in a single sentence, it would most likely be 'One of the best sets of stereo speakers I've ever heard'. For audio from two-channel sources, it's hard to imagine Klipsch's offering being beaten (particularly in the...
