Klipsch Quintet III

The Quintet III includes four 8.3-inch-tall satellites and a 12-inch-wide center-channel speaker. The satellite speakers come premounted on a swiveling metal pedestal base that serves as a wall mount or as a stand for tabletop placement. Each satellite...

The ultracompact five-piece Klipsch Quintet III surround speaker system utilizes a horn tweeter that offers great sound and ample volume. Its speakers are fitted with wall/shelf brackets for easy mounting.

Klipsch doesn't sell extra speakers for expanding to 6.1 or 7.1 surround systems, and you'll need to purchase a matching subwoofer separately. Adjusting the speaker-subwoofer blend can be tricky.

The Klipsch Quintet III speaker system belts out a hugely impressive sound despite the speakers' small size.

No matter what we may think of small cubed speakers as a general category, the fact is that people want them. Surely there must be quality brands out there. It was with cautious optimism that we took

Klipsch Quintet III Review and Prices

Because of the attention to build quality and performance in a small package, The Klipsch Synergy Series Quintet III Microsystem is one of the better micro home theater speaker systems we have come across. This little system offers a lot of sound...

Excellent build quality, included mounts/stands

Separate Surround Back satellites not sold individually, subwoofer needs to be purchased separately

"A phenomenal choice for great sound on a budget!"

First, you should probably know that I do a lot of research before I purchase anything costing more that a couple hundred bucks. Everything I read about the speakers was extremely positive. Well, Best Buy had them on sale for $275 on Black Friday...

Room-filling sound with great clarity, texture, and separation. You could spend twice as much or more and not get the quality of sound. FIVE year warranty. Fantastic bang for the buck. What's not to love?

I chose floor speaker stands for a number of reasons. The speaker stands I got won't accept the heavy gauge wire I used (wire too big to fit through the hollow tube stand). Wish Klipsch made speaker stands to match their products. My only complaint.

Go and get them they are great.

they have the capability of hitting very high notes without distortion. It sound like AMC in you living room lol.

They speaker it self comes with a mounting platform i know for a fact that it starts to wear off and your speaker losses its tention

Product Specifications

The Synergy Series Quintet III Microsystem, also known as the world's smallest horn-loaded surround sound speaker package, augments the performance and style of its predecessor with an upgraded tweeter, improved industrial design and increased output. Comprised of four miniature satellites and a low-profile center channel, the Quintet III proves that compact dimensions and sophisticated style can coexist with high-performance sound. Each magnetically shielded satellite employs a 0.75-inch aluminum diaphragm tweeter coupled to an exclusive MicroTractrix Horn for crisp, precise high frequencies and a dynamic, three-dimensional soundstage. The 3.5-inch long-throw woofers produce remarkable detail and clarity. The ported bass reflex design maximizes bass response, allowing ultradynamic performance and seamless blend with the Quintet center channel. The swiveling pedestal base featured on each satellite facilitates easy wall or shelf placement and gives the speaker a 180-degree range of motion, allowing users to widen or constrict the soundstage based on audience size. The two-way magnetically shielded bass reflex design Quintet center channel uses the same MicroTractrix Horn tweeter and two of the 3.5-inch woofers found in the satellites to ensure an ideal sonic match and proper driver transition across the listening area. In order to create the low-frequency power necessary to complement the performance of the Quintet III, Klipsch recommends that owners pair the system with a Synergy Series Sub-10 subwoofer (sold separately). The Sub-10 reaches deeper and hits harder thanks to a 10-inch, down-firing driver coupled to a highly efficient BASH Class D amplifier. Because of its ample enclosure size and large, rear-firing port with flared ends, the Sub-10 produces increased bass response with low distortion. In addition to its high-end components, the Quintet III incorporates a modern industrial design that is refined and aggressive. While the satellites and center channel feature a dark gray finish with medium gray accents, the optional Sub-10 is available in a black ash vinyl finish with titanium accents. It's obvious something special happens while listening to your favorite music and movies on a Quintet Microsystem, otherwise it wouldn't have become the company's best-selling surround sound speaker package of all time. So what are you waiting for? Get this miniature marvel for your house, apartment or dorm room today!
