Klipsch RB-61 Bookshelf Loudspeaker Reviewed

Sitting second from the top of Klipsch's RB line of bookshelf speakers, the 22 lb. RB-61 delivers 95 dB efficiency making it ideal to mate with low-powered electronics. With slightly aggressive sonic profile, the RB-61 is ideal for electronic material....

The RB-61 provides lively, punchy sound that suits rock and electronic music very well ; The RB-61 doesn't require high power to perform optimally ; The RB-61 looks good, and offers bi-wiring/bi-amping capability

The RB-61's overall forward tonalbalance and aggressive presentation creates a lack of overalltransparency and neutrality with acoustic, jazz, and classical material ; The RB-61 is not small or light, which highlights its lack of on-board mounting...

The Klipsch RB-61 provides a lot of bang for the buck, but sometimestoo much. It's very easy to drive, utilizes premium parts, and providesa very lively, detailed, crisp sound with a lot of punch. However, thatbang comes with a price, in the form of...

Rich sound on a budget

Bought these RB-61 II's along with the RC-62 II center and RB-41 II for the surround and RW-12D for the sub. Excellent!! I shed a tear for every explosion I hear. Love my new system. Have a Pioneer VSX-1121-K powering them all.

A lot of sound from a modest size

These serve as my primary speakers in my living room (about 14X22). They sit on stands about 8" high, and are pretty close to being in the corners on one of the long walls. I am sure that if I had spent more and gone with bigger, floor-standing units...

Klipsch RB-61 II (black)

I love this speaker for it's dynamic/ 95 db, so I can pair it with small ampl like Jolid JD102B with EL84 tube, but don't play it with powerful amp like Primaluna Proloque 2. It will be irritating when listening. The sound also wonderful when pairing...

A little uncomfortable with keeping these

I purchased these to go in the workout room so that I could hear the tv over the sound of the treadmill and step machine. Turning up the tv loud enough lead to ringing headaches after workouts.
