Keep getting better

I have had these speakers for 4 years now, and the sound quality keeps getting better as they "break in." Based on quality of speaker, every review here should be 5 stars. However, some people don't like the way the speakers were advertised, so they...

Incredible sound!!

I've owned these speakers for apprx. 2 years now and have found them to handle everything I've thrown at them. From music, to karaoke, to 7.1 surround they can reproduce sound flawlessly. I use them with the Klipsch RW12 powered sub woofer to great...

These Rock Even If You Like Classical

Simply put these are probably the best speakers that I've ever owned. I use to design and build my own loudspeakers. They were large as refrigerators had sensitivity of 102 spl at 1 watt one meter. I don't have a big basement and can play my stereo...

Let's be clear - This is just ONE speaker

I also assumed this was a pair of speakers. There are, after all, 2 speakers shown in the picture. Besides, this is how Klipsch (and other) stereo speakers are normally sold.

Excellent

For the money these are pretty hard to beat. Great bass and I love the horn tweeters. Some people don't like horns but i think they're especially great for home theater.

Not Quite As Shown

Maybe we're just slow, however, please note that this is for a single speaker! Although 2 are pictured only 1 gets shipped to you. Also, the color shipped was black not the oak.

Great Value

There are very few speakers I'd prefer at even twice the price of the Klipsch RB-35. When I evaluate speakers, the ability to accurately present details is high on my list. The RB-35 clearly reproduces tiny details, for example lute fret noise echoes...

Product Specifications

The Reference Series bookshelf loudspeaker models achieve the same level of power, detail and emotion as their floorstanding counterparts. The new RB-35 sets the perfect example because it doesn't let its compact size stand in the way of producing a precise and intense sound that's certainly worthy of carrying on the Reference legacy. The RB-35 delivers dynamic sound through an 8-inch woofer and 1-inch titanium-dome tweeter that features a high-energy, video-shielded Neodymium magnet. The tweeter is coupled to an exclusive Klipsch square Tractrix Horn that increases sensitivity while minimizing the room interactions that blur the sonic detail and imaging of conventional speakers. The woofer on the RB-35 uses an enhanced version of Klipsch's distinguished, copper-colored Cerametallic material that is stronger than ever. This cone is made of an anodized aluminum that makes it tough but does not take away from its beauty. The anodizing process converts its inner and outer surface to ceramic. The result is a rigid cone with outstanding damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range. Driving this cone is a large, video-shielded magnet and high-temperature, long-excursion voice coil, for high efficiency and deep, powerful, articulate bass without breakup or distortion. Installing the RB-35 is a breeze. It has front-mounted, flared port to facilitate placement in a cabinet or against a wall. The RB-35 also has a back-panel keyhole for flush mounting to a wall and a threaded insert for attachment to popular adjustable wall and ceiling brackets. The RB-35 pushes the performance envelope due to a crossover network that uses extremely high-end components, including Monster Cable Bandwidth Balanced wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor. These parts are mounted on a high-quality fiberglass epoxy circuit board. The RB-35 has a sleek appearance because of its new sculpted low-diffraction baffle with an integrated horn design. The speaker grille attaches with magnetic posts, which makes it easy to handle and more durable. Audition the RB-35 and personally discover the high-performance Klipsch sound experience.
