Logic3 i-Station8

The Logic3 i-Station8 is an interesting-looking portable iPod speaker that has more features than most.

Interesting stacked-speaker design. Backlit LCD lists song and volume info. Small footprint. Full-featured remote.

Quirky start-up behavior.

SpectraVideo Logic3 i-Station8

In a market bloated with speakers for the Apple iPod, the Logic3 i-Station8 portable iPod speaker/dock (available in white or black for $179.95 list) does its best to stand out. Thanks to its unique stacked-driver design and a built-in subwoofer, you...

Quirky start-up behavior.

Though the i-Station8 isn't the best-sounding iPod speaker out there, it has plenty of handy features that the competition lacks.

Logic3 iStation 8

Fancy-pants modeling and a new song collecting feature keep the iStation 8 and its mediocre sound quality afloat, if only partially.

We’ve criticized many an iPod docking port for not providing adequate support for the player, and we level the same charge at this one. The iStation 8’s blue LCD, on the other hand, cranks up the hip factor with a feature we’ve never seen before: Song...

Logic3 i-Station 8 LCD Docking Station and Speaker System for iPod

With some regularity, we issue less than A-caliber ratings to iPod speaker systems with outstanding sound quality, and on occasion, the manufacturers ask, "why didn't they rate an A?" The answer is always in the review, but typically boils down to one...

A truly portable iPod docking speaker system with 9 total speaker drivers, separated into left and right channels with a larger subwoofer. Includes good remote control, Universal Dock Adapters, wall power supply, and AA battery option. Compares...

Spotty implementation of integrated, not especially useful LCD screen makes use of the system more difficult than necessary - because of synchronization process, which has oddities, not as plug-and-play as competing options. Treble response not as...

Great sound quality for the money (£83 in UK). In no way is the Altec im7 worth twice the price (£157 cheapest price in UK). No "whining" unlike MadBob, in fact the amp noise is very low. If you don't like the display feature, it can be disabled which...

Logic3 i-Station8

Bold design, with a big sound, but one that doesn't really thrill

Big, room-filling sound; happy at loud volume; LCD display; remote control included

Bass is boomy and lacks precision; muffled overall sound; styling might not be for everyone

Logic3 iStation 8

The latest MP3 speaker system from Logic3 looks like the MTV Pimp my crew have been let loose on it. With 8 (yes 8) Tweeters bristling on its ice white plastic front can it justify the rise in price over the outgoing model. We lower the lights and...

Brilliant Speaker System!

I have this dock for my second generation ipod touch and it's brilliant! The sound it produces it really clear and with very good bass - You can adjust bass and treble with the remote, the speakers do not distort even at maximum volume and easily fill...

Excellent

I bought these almost two weeks ago now - Only just received them due to an order mix-up though. On first impressions these are excellent speakers; the clarity and bass are second to none. It charges my 1g touch without any hitches. The remote controls...

Fantastic Sound, Great Look, it has the entire package

Great i-station, definately the best for this price range. Ive been using mine for nearly 4months now and have had no problems except one; i cannot get the i-station to work with batteries, but this is a minor problem. The sound is enough to fill a...
