Logitech Z506 review

Audiophiles are quick to name the umpteen flavors of Dolby, but at the risk of oversimplifying things a tad, there are just three types of surround

Inexpensive ; Color-coded cables ; Quality sound

Fewer features than predecessor ; No wall mounting ; Analog input only

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

Logitech's Pure-Fi Dream leads the pack in alarm clock/iPod docks.

Powerful speakers. Strong bass response. Rarely distorts. Easy-to-set alarms. Useful, backlit remote. Motion-controlled snooze feature.

Works with iPhone, but not as gracefully as other docks. No video out.

Logitech's intuitively designed, good-looking, and excellent-sounding Pure-Fi Dream leads the pack in alarm clock/iPod docks.

Logitech Z506 5.1 Speakers Review

At their release, Logitech's X-540 5.1 speakers were a hit, thanks to their affordable price and feature-set. In fact, our review from five years ago is still regularly read today. So what about their successor, the Z506? Carrying the same $99 price...

Testing a surround sound set can be a little more tricky than it first appears. Accurate surround sound is a complicated affair, balancing volume, speaker direction and placement. The audio card and media also play an important role in the final results.

Review: Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

It's here that Dream runs into its major problems. When we first saw the unit a year ago, we told Logitech that we weren't fond of the design, which had an odd shape and placed a little amber-colored clock below the iPod dock rather than using a larger...

There's one other sort of nice thing about Dream: there aren't any external radio antennas. Instead, the back has a single audio port, designed for auxiliary audio input, and the only things you need to connect are the power supply-which is quite...

Logitech Z-3 2.1 Speakers

While PC system manufacturers have routinely included speakers as part of the package, the quality and reliability of the provided audio units has been spotty at best. Those who desire a more robust, fulfilling sound and those of us in the DIY sector...

Logitech Z-5 review

Does there have to be a sub in substantial sound?

Lightweight ; Stylish ; No power brick

Flimsy bass ; Awkward acoustics ; Limited remote control

Logitech G51 Speaker System review

In the market for a solid set of surround sound speakers?

Smooth sound ; Good build quality ; Easy to set up

Steep price

Logitech Z623 review

The Logitech Z623 2.1-channel speaker set offers powerful stereo sound at an affordable price. Here's our review.

The Logitech Z623 offers powerful stereo sound at a price that can get as low as £110 in certain online outlets, which is attractive. The system sounds bold and offers powerful deep bass that makes it easily a good option for partying or waking up the...

Logitech Z623 review

Logitech's Z623 speaker set has been designed with the film fan in mind. They are one of very few 2.1 speaker sets to be fully certified by cinema audio specialists THX, which should mean movie soundtracks sound exactly how the director intended. We...

Well-designed and incredibly loud, but audio just doesn't sound as good as we'd expect from an expensive 2.1 set.
