Logitech Z-5 review

By David Carnoy (cnet.com)

Logitech's Z-5 PC speakers offer decent sound for a reasonable price ; omnidirectional acoustics ; USB connectivity obviates need for bulky power adapter ; compatible with Mac and Windows PCs ; included remote allows you to control playback of music ...

Little light on the bass ; no volume control on speakers themselves

Logitech Z-5

By Ray Aguilera (maclife.com)

If we had a nickel for every pair of speakers that come over the transom, we'd all have better tans, and Mac|Life would be coming to you from an exotic isle in the South Pacific.

USB-Powered. Stereo mini-jack input for use with external audio source. Omnidirectional sound. Remote control

Must install software to enable one-touch iTunes access from remote. No included input cable

Logitech's Z-5 USB speakers are a convenient and compact way to rock the party on your desktop or in your spare bedroom.

Quality speakers

Quality speakers

I have no hesitation in recommending these speakers. We bought them to plug into a Toshiba laptop. The sound quality is excellent and the volume is more than adequate, particulalry considering their size and that they are powered directly from a USB socke...

Manufacturer's Description
