Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515

If what you need is a very portable, wireless speaker system—and not one that offers high-quality audio performance—the Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 is worth checking out.

Streams audio wirelessly via Bluetooth or USB dongle. Slim, lightweight design is easily portable. Built-in kickstand. Approximately ten hours of battery life.

Mediocre audio quality. Cannot handle high volumes without distortion, and there's no real bass response. Slightly overpriced.

Logitech Z515 review

The $100 Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 is a simple solution for freeing your music from the aural prison of your computer and mobile audio player. We've reviewed portable Bluetooth speakers in the past, but most have to sacrifice price for size like...

Includes wireless USB adapter and Bluetooth connectivity; durable case; moderate sound quality; 10-hour rechargeable battery.

Lacks remote control; can't use it as a speakerphone; rechargeable battery only; Creative D100 has bigger drivers and four color options.

With its durable outer shell, multiple connectivity options, and wide range of sound, the Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 makes a great sidekick for your next backyard barbecue or picnic party. However, if portability isn't your primary concern, you can...

Logitech Z515 Bluetooth Speaker Review

One of the most consistent complaints against phones of all types, including Android superphones favored by most of our readers, is that they have to make due with tiny, weak speakers. That's not anyone's fault, really – devices that fit in your pocket...

Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 Review

I've had nothing but laptops for several years now, and I'll never go back to desktop computers. About the only thing I don't like about laptops is their typically wimpy speakers. I don't want to have to plug in external speakers and have my laptop...

Portable ; Rechargeable battery with 10-hour life ; Sounds good ; Can connect wirelessly to computers with USB adapter ; Connects via Bluetooth to iPad or iPhone

Bass end is a bit lacking

Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 Review

The number of digital tracks and other audio files on the average user's computer today is staggering. Most of us buy our music in digital format and we stream lots of video today. That means that there are lots of users everyday looking for a better...

Bluetooth capability ; USB wireless streaming ; Internal battery

Weak bass

The Z515 is a nice portable speaker that users looking for heavy bass might want to reconsider. For other music fans just looking for a speaker with no wires, the Z515 will do the job well.

Logitech Z515: Sounds Great - Easy to Use - Solid Construction

Logitech Wireless Speaker Z515 review

Logitech's Bluetooth speaker might be wireless, but is the sound toothless?

Audio quality is decent even when loud ; Good-looking design ; Good range

Some good competition is cheaper ; Rechargeable battery could be an issue for some ; Very little punch in bass

A good choice for a portable speaker, but not the best option around.

Great compromise between size, cost, and sound

I've had mine for years now and still love it. It comes with us wherever we travel and I've never had a problem with it. Easy to use, decent battery life, pretty good sound. The sound does lack some bass, but -- it's not a 100W home sound system, so...

chargeable, packable, decent sound

the sound's decent but only. Very utilitarian design, yawn.
