Mackie SRM 450

Bought these for my elementary school. They sound great in a very non-musically acoustical, square cinder-block cafeteria. SO, so, much better than the garbage speakers they used 30 years prior.

While the SRM-450V2s are not inexpensive, they do deliver quality sound. I used 2 of these for an outdoor gig and the music output was evenly dispersed with clear highs and mids and with punchy bass. My only regret was that some of the MP3s I played...

Bought these in Novermber 2008 and now they keep cutting out due to overheating. Great sound quality but reliability a big problem for this once great brand - stay away!
