Mission M-Cube review

The Mission system is as appealing as ever

Brilliantly discreet ; larger, more immersive sound than seems credible

Subwoofer demands careful placement ; not really very musical

As innovative and covetable as it was on day one, the Mission is as appealing as ever

Beautifully designed speakers that sound fantastic but cost a fortune

If you're after a 5.1 speaker system and have £1,200 to part with, the M-Cube sounds and looks stunning

Mission M-Cube

The M Cubes sound great and their small size means that they are easily placed in my room. I use them for my side and rear surround sound.

The optional speaker stands are quite expensive, but I have no complaints regarding the speakers.

Good set of Rears. Versatile and a range of colours to help persuade 'her who must be obeyed'!

'She' reckons it is a bit 'techy' !

Fantastic sound from such small speakers. Gasps of admiration from eveyone who has heard them. Very unobtrusive.

Rather expensive

Product Specifications

Understated and tiny in proportion, the M-cube is a revolutionary 5.1 home theater system for the discerning listener who desires sound quality and discrete style in equal combination. Just 9 cm in size, the satellites can be wall or stand mounted, and due to their use of radical DML (Distributed Mode Loudspeaker) technology, they can be placed at different distances and angles from the listener - wherever is convenient - without disrupting their spectacular performance. The rich and spacious sounds belie the size of the satellites and makes watching movies and listening to music an irresistible pleasure. A powerful 250 watt amplified subwoofer is included in the package - no lightweight when it comes to delivering power, but as precise and articulate as any with quality stereo music. M-cube is simple to set-up and install and is supplied with all the necessary cables, fully adjustable wall brackets and a selection of alternative 'skins' to customize the look to your taste.
