Great Sound Quality

Whoever shipped this did not take care of it. The box and item within was damaged. My heat sink on my sub-woofer is bent way out of shape. I submitted a ticket with the shipper and with newegg regarding the problem and neither ups or newegg ever...

Fantastic for the price..

In the last six months I have purchased two of these. So far I haven't had any problems with the subwoofers, but the subwoofers do not sound as good as other 10 inch subwoofers I have owned. But the quality and sound of the satellites and center...

1 inch tweeter ; Quality construction of satellite and center speakers ; Sound quality

Old vs. New Subwoofer

Got this for a steal but sub did not work. Martin Logan is sending me an RMA to return the board for replacement so I am hopeful I will have a great system at a great price. Martin Logan confirmed that the subs had many issues that have since been...

Speakers sound great. Heavy/substantial. Worth the $$ for the speakers alone ($170) even though sub did not work

Subwoofer came DOA with leg cracked - packaging was not adequate

Outstanding Surround

I have a cabin where I have already set up on small viewing area using the Energy Take 5 classics. When I added a 2nd "teen" room I was going to use another set of Energys, but when I found teh MLTs listed here for half the price of the Take 5s I...

Outstanding Sound for the price

After only 3 days none to report. Waiting to see if the sub amp has issues as reported by others, but so far so good

Do You have to think about it?

I never intended this to be a home system, it was always for the bedroom. Why not live in luxury at peanut pricing. The center is way beyond what I expected and next to my other centers is totally dwarfed in only size. Crisp, clear, and detailed....

Solid build quality, Great Center for size, surrounds deliver. sleek design. No damage on delivery. One styro protection was cracked but did what it was designed to do, save the equipment. A double thick wall would have been better but at 169 I'm lucky...

Have none. You can not, absolutely can not do better for the $$. ML build went into this just as there other high end speakers which I have on another system. Anyone complaining really are expecting a Porche at Ford pricing

Bargain Boom!

Was worried about the sub issues in other comments but for $200 figured the risk was worth it. Was not disappointed, satellites alone are worth the $200. Powered with a Pioneer VSX-1121-K. Also had bought the MLT-1 set and was similarly impressed

Great sounding satellites, big powered sub, makes my medium sized room sound great

Box seemed to be repackaged but product inside was ok

FIVE STAR SPEAKERS despite poor packaging

It's in the other reviews, worth mentioning again. I used ML Motion-4 speakers (from the EGG- see review) as primary FRONT R&L speakers, the ML-2 system satellite speaker pair is used as a Mid-room speakers (opposite side of room from where people sit...

Owned this system for more than two (2) years. Refer to earlier four star reviews on EGG from back in 2011 when purchased with Yamaha RX-V867 AV receiver (also from EGG). Installation was carefully done from over 45-years of building/installing stereo...

Terrible, DEPLORABLE packaging.. light weight box for shipping without even having a decent cushioning in proper packaging material is a recipe for disaster for customers. Don't really believe shipping issues should be in a REVIEW for the product;...

Best 5.1 system under $500

My sub was damaged upon arrival (cabinet & amp cooling fins). Newegg's return policy would allow me to exchange whole system, but this required me to pack up whole system (jigsaw puzzle) and pay one-way shipping. Martin Logan sent replacement sub free...

Good sound through entire range and well balanced. I've had these in our 34' motorhome for 2 years, and despite all the bumping around, they still sound great. Iike the review below notes, these are actually Paradigm Cinema CT-90s, CC and sub...which...

None really. Only thing I could complain about is that wall mounting options are limited. You need to buy Paradigm wall mounts, or fab your own mount...no universal mounts ; Some would say too small, but they sound bigger than they are. Besides, if you...

Another Subwoofer Complaint

Only pro is if this Subwoofer debacle is corrected

I will just add to the many Subwoofer complaints. Had it less than a year (I believe) and the cracking and popping is unbearable. It started probably a couple months ago and has been off since. The other speakers seem to work just fine, but the Sub in...

Yes - subwoofer issues

First off buyer beware - not just about this product but in general. Martin Logan is one of, if not the best products on the market. When I saw the chance to own a set at a price I could afford, had to jump at it. So even though there are issues, they...

Solid sound for their size. Created a hybrid of Klipsch floor and used the MLT as surround for 7.1 so for that they work well. More on the sub later

READ the review(s) - the subwoofer is an issue. I have 5 months with about 100 hours of real use, and the sub died on me. Contacted Martin Logan direct and they are dealing with the issue (and rapidly). Contacted them last night, they asked for basic...
