Cracks, hisses, and pops

I guess there's a reason these were bundled free with my Aventage receiver. I'm sure that I could replace the power supply the subwoofer shipped with to make it tolerable. I have no interest in doing so. As it is, I'm using the center because it takes...

Decent satellite speakers: good build quality, ok dynamic range

The subwoofer. I'm guessing the power supply? When set to auto, which is where I've always set the sub (it comes on when a signal is present, then goes into standby after your movie/album/etc.) it will crackle, hiss, and pop. Without a signal present....

Poor to terrible sub-woofer electronics

Two to three months ago my uncle bought me this ML-2 set for my home theater setup. Combined with the other components, cables, player and HT-PC I set on my way happy and satisfied that all is good. Indeed everything worked fine and in the occasional...

Good satellites

Poor sub-woofer electronics ; Terrible support policy

Exellent Speakers

Good Speaker ; The center channel is little loud and needs tuning ; The iPad connection and charging is good

Sub Woofer needs a little tuning ; Android App is not efficent

Super product, great deal.

Maybe I'll build a small shelf for these, rather than trust the single point mount. At first I thought these were a little loud in the higher frequencies. Had to lower the level of the center channel speaker to tone that down. Had some crackling in one...

American product, great sound, Newegg value and service ; The great american speaker company it says on the box. Happy my money helped US jobs and they are great speakers. Got these at a fantastic deal from Newegg ; First connected these to a Samsung...

Mounting, shipping container ; Front and surround mounts with a sigle screw in the wall then speaker has notch in back. Would have preferred two mounting slots in case one gives way the speaker don't hit the floor, and felt the weight was a little much...

The product has arrived

I received the shipment very quickly. I give them a five star for shipping and as soon as I get the product connected to my receiver and entertainment center I will put more information in for the pro's and con's.

MartinLogan MLT-2

I live in an apartment so need to have clear, full low to mid and most of the reviews I read raved about these. Thik I'll go with some good bookshelves instead.

Decent sound in the high range

Low and mid range is very flat and was shipped a damaged subwoofer although the box wasn't damaged

Nice speakers but broken subwoofer (updated)

I unfortunately cannot update my original review (where I gave this product just 1 egg for the failure). Rather than returning the entire speaker set to NewEgg, I instead contacted MartinLogan directly. The support rep was friendly and helpful, and it...

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this speaker set has an impressive price-performance ratio (at least when they are on special). They are currently paired with a new Onkyo TX-NR414 receiver, and they provide a clean, balanced sound

The subwoofer broke after just one day of use. The power LED on the front stayed red when turned on and no longer produced sound

Excellent speakers

I bought these speakers about a year ago for $349 (on special at the time). I wanted a nice set of speakers at a decent price range. I'm aware that there are speakers out there with insane capabilities but some of those systems can run over $1000...

Can take a little time to tweak the settings on your receiver to get these to sound optimum. Not really a "con", and completely worth it for anyone who's gonna use them regularly anyway

Excellent Set for Price

Buy it... Honestly if you want a 5.1 HT System and you want to spend <$500 wait for a sale and buy this system. Period...

After selling AV equipment for a few years I am harsh critic on quility for cost. These speakers offer a great range of sound and delivers a good punch with its massive sub. Wait till the price is around $400 and you cannot go wrong. I also have...

In my opinion they are a little large comparison sion to my ProCinema 600 System (which i think offers better mid range). Sub is also huge, which is almost unnecessary but not completely

Nice speakers but broken subwoofer

I haven't had much chance to use these yet, but I just paired them with a new Onkyo TX-NR414 receiver and they sound great so far, even without breaking them in

The subwoofer worked the first day but all of a sudden stopped responding the second. I was worried about this based on previous reviewers with similar problems. I'm not sure if it was damaged in shipping (the box was torn but the sub itself looks in...
