These speakers are amaizing. The bass pounds like hell, and is so amaizingly clear. It won't matter what kind of music you listen, they reproduce the sound the way it was meant to be heard.

I bought my NHT2.4''s a year ago, and I''ve never been happier with an audio purchase. They sound amazing with both music and home theater. Very detailed midrange and treble, and earth-shattering bass (for a non-subwoofer speaker). My classic rock...

Product Specifications

The VT-2.4 tower is a deceptively large loudspeaker. Within the 8" wide cabinet there are two separate chambers. The upper-range driver array is housed in a sealed enclosure, while the balance of the cabinet volume is devoted to the 10" side-loaded subwoofer. The VT-2.4 is a full-range system with bass response to 25Hz, and the subwoofer can be biamplified with a separate SA-3 amplifier. The VT-2.4 continues the evolution of the Audio Mode/Video Mode speaker first envisioned by NHT engineers years ago. In the Video Mode, a pair of rear-firing drivers are activated, operating in phase with the front drivers. The effect is such that the power response of the loudspeaker is equalized and flattened, imparting movie theater-like spaciousness to the listening experience. Audio Mode, as expected from an NHT speaker, extracts precise imaging and pinpoint location for music playback. Audio/Video mode switching is accomplished via an easily accessible, front mounted switch.
