the Niro 800 is my 3rd niro system i've owned in past 4 years, as my 6.1 is in my office, my reference is in my bedroom, and now the 800 in my great room! i have heard many so called competitive products, but nothing even comes close!

unbelievable surround & 2 channel audio-nothing else compares

there is no video switching, but who cares

I have owned the high-end Niro reference system for about 2 years which cost be about $1100+. At the 2 year mark the remote control stopped working and the unit cost me about $350 to repair (incl shipping). The customer service people that I talked to...

Decent Sound and compact unit

Expensive, unit requires repair and customer service is below average

Product Specifications

Each of the 3-inch, full range drivers in this unit is housed individually within the speaker box, constructed of high-grade wood to reduce cabinet resonance. Coarse grill fabric is used for maximum sound penetration; range response is 30Hz to 20kHz. The wide shape of the cabinet has been engineered for maximum effectiveness in spreading the surround soundstage. Accurate sound localization is delivered with any source, either with 5.1 surround information, or with music in 2-channel stereo.
