NOT the total cost!

 

The pioneer sound bar gives out great quality play - - once you collect all of the needed accessories that are NOT included in the package - and yet are absolutely necessary to hook up the system.

Wireless subwoofer, Dolby True HD decoding, HDMI inputs, decent sound quality

Front Stage Surround, cryptic front-panel setup, no USB or analogue audio inputs

Overall it's no disaster, but not quite up to the standard of soundbars from the likes of B&W and Teufel

The Pioneer HTP-SB300 is let down by its confusing remote and gimmicky surround-sound modes, but its impressive sonic performance goes a long way towards making up for these failings
