Money was spent where it matters....cabinet design, soft dome tweeter, 3 separate drivers. Construction standard on-par with low-end IKEA furniture, meaning generous use of card-board and press-paper board. Remarkable that speakers sound this good...

The speakers sound amazing. I'm using 12GA wire with them and they stomp hands down on my TV speakers. They are capable of getting very loud and I haven't maxed them out because I can sing full voice with these not maxed and not be able to hear myself....
