Awesome Speakers

These are the best speakers you can get for this price range below 399 $. Intially I was bit worried about the size of speakers later had no regrets. I was really happy to own these speakers.

Awesome sound, solid cabinets.

I bought these when they were half off ($99 for the pair). It's the best $99 I've ever spent.

These speakers are just awesome. The sound quality is very clear, even at high volumes, and the low end is surprisingly beefy. The cabinets are heavy and seem very well made, also they are a perfect size for apartment usage. Some say that these...

Grills are not easily removable

Best Budget Tower Ever

For the price, these are the best budget towers you can buy. I replaced my Acoustech towers which cost 4x the price with these, because they sound better with both music and movies. Not efficient sensitivity wise, so drive them with a decent amount of...

Needs a decent amount of power to sound best

Really, Really Good

If you're looking for non-fatiguing highs, a lush midrange, and excellent low-end punch, this is the floorstander to beat. They should probably be priced about $100 higher--they sound just that good. Andrew Jones (the man who designed these) really...

Really 'meaty' sound ; Beefy low end ; Non-fatiguing highs ; Easy to drive ; So cheap, considering how good they sound

Highs could be a little crisper

Smooth and delicate

If you are considering these vs. Polk Monitor or below-reference line Klipsch, you should strongly consider these Pioneers. The Klipsch can wear on your ears after a while with a brash high end presentation, and the Polk Monitors are a loud hot mess...

I've listened to most offerings in this price range - the Infinity Primus, Klipsch Synergy and Reference, Polk RTi and Monitor/TSi, Energy RC, Aperion... these Pioneers are very competitive with all of the above and better than most ; These speakers...

OK, here goes ; The cabinets are not beautiful ; They don't dig super deep into the bottom octave and lack some of the impact of larger towers ; They aren't incredibly sensitive and won't play as loud as Klipsch with same power
