Pioneer SW-8MK2

I'm not a audiophile however I try to read up and learn what I can from various forums. I decided to get this sub instead of a couple others I was looking at (Dayton, MartinLogan, BIC) mainly because I have the rest of the Andrew Jones series of...

Love the sound, asthenics, matches my other speakers. Fast shipping and got it on sale. Standard RCA input and also has speaker wire inputs

Wish it had a slightly longer power cord. No other cables included which was fine for me since I had purchased a sub cable. Main speaker faces down which may disturb residents if you have any under you

Value is key

I bought this during one of Newegg's many sales for my brother. He was in need of a sub, and I've been buying Pioneer equipment my entire adult life. After hooking it up and setting the recommended crossover, I thought the unit might be bad, as I could...

Bought it at yard sale price (from Newegg of course)

great little sub

The bass output for this little sub is good. I live in a small appt building, the upstairs neighbor's kids run around all day, when i've had enough, i just crank the bass and turn up the beats!

I have this little sub connected to a 40" vizio sound bar - very satisfied with the sound quality. Auto power off feature. for an 8" sub, this hits pretty hard

No cons to report

Awesome

The sound of this sub is deafening. The deep is very deep and I never turn the volume beyond the half way mark. It almost mimics a movie theater experience.

Price was good and has been durable so far. Looks pleasing to the eye too

The connection sucks. Red and white RCA inputs means you have to get a splitter. Also has a background hum even when the TV is on but not talking

Pretty good

Good product. I thought I would get more low end bass from this thing. Think I could have done better with a good equalizer.

Lasted 18 months

Only a 1 year warranty. Speaker cone itself started rattling after 18 months. It would stop if I put my hand on the rubber part of the speaker. Basically the speaker is shot. Was $79 when i bought it. Glad i didnt pay a penny more.

Auto-on off works well as does the amp

Speaker itself is cheap. Lasted 18 months

CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS SUBWOOFER

I purchased this sub about a year ago and for the price I paid I don't think you can beat it. Teamed it up with a Yamaha receiver and this thing really thumps during action movies and pounds out the low end when playing music. Gave it 5 stars on value...

good,, not great, quality and value

This sub-woofer supplies a good bottom octave of response to the Andrew Jones B 22 bookshelf speakers, which have astoundingly good mid-range, but little low end extension. Just don't expect too much from this sub-woofer; it doesn't go too low, and it...
