Polk N1 Surroundbar

Full, clear sound. Visually striking. Affordable. Simulated surround effect gives the soundbar a "big" sound.

Mediocre bass. Gaming audio modes are strangely labeled. Display lights aren't clear enough.

The Polk N1 Surroundbar is a gaming-focused soundbar speaker that offers solid performance and an attractive design at a reasonable price.

Polk Audio N1 review

Bar size won't appeal to all, but sound will. The Polk will make your movie experience a thrilling one

Big, dynamic sound Reaches high volumes Decent detail levels Good dynamic range Wallet-friendly price

Size won’t be practical for all Midrange lacks refinement

The Polk Audio N1 entered the market at a rather steep £350, but a big price drop recently (it’s available for £200 now) makes it a talented soundbar for the price. Apart from the need for a more defined bass and slightly better refinement, you’ve got...

Always suggest Polk!

For the money, absolutely worth it! It won't deliver the quality of a surround system but it's an awesome addition to my system and sounds much much better than the tv.

I've always owned Polk Audio products for my home audio system, so when I needed a soundbar for my Sceptre 4K (horrible speakers btw) I went straight for the N1. It's very loud, very clean and doesn't distort at higher volumes. It has a very cool...

-remote doesn't connect fully. Sometimes you have to press the power button or volume a few times for it to actually change (maybe I just have a bum remote?) -Bluetooth distance is subpar. My iPhone 6 will cut out after walking 10 feet away. Again,...

Works great!

I had this hooked to my computer and it sounded great when listening to itunes/pandora/etc.. but I now have it hooked to my apple tv via optical. Generic streaming from hulu/netflix/hbo go is okayish~ due to their low quality nature, but my movies and...

-Fantastic sound -Rich tones and bass (bass is adjustable) -optical in -sub out (you can add a subwoofer to this badboy) -Bluetooth -3.5mm in -comes with cables

today's sale price is $40 less than what I paid a little over a month ago ($130) which is pretty aggravating since it's just out of 'return policy' which would get me that discount (can't fault the product for that!)

Good but has flaws

- Overall is a good deal for the price is the cons are not a problem for you

- Loud, 180 watts, four 4" speakers - Looks very sleek - Has sub-woofer output, optical output - Bluetooth - Modes are all unique but music is best in my opinion

- Sub-woofer output is very low, has no crossovers, has no sub-woofer output boost settings - Outputs are facing downward so if your cables end pieces are long the cable with be bent at a 90 degree angle against the desk - The sound on all settings are...
