This little device is exactly what I needed. I have a non-IPod MP3 player and wanted a speaker I could plug it into that was portable. The speakers are suprisingly good quality for the price.

Although this unit used 4 AA batteries, it does not have a volume knob. Its overall output depends on the audio level your Mp3 file was created at; for me I have to push my non-iPod players near their maximum output.

It didn't work. Returned and bought a better quality item at a different store.

For a little speaker it has a very good sound. Very happy with this product.

Handy for what I need (poolside tunes). The sound is impressive for such a small, inexpensive speaker. Wish it had an AC adapter or that it charged the device.
