Q Acoustics 2020i review

The Q Acoustics remain brilliant, beautifully put-together speakers

Punchy, musical, open Plenty of verve and attack Solid, compact build Beautifully finished cabinets

Tough new competition

It’s only in a direct head-to-head with the new Wharfedale Diamond 220s that we realise the Q Acoustics no longer sit at the head of the table. The Wharfedales are a touch more dynamic and subtle, and slightly tighter when it comes to timing and...

QA 2020is are amazing performers and value!

Had my eye on these for a few years, but now under a ton I couldn't say no even if the black graphite finish is by not quite as appealing as the others (white/wood) finishes offered. I had planned on putting them in the kitchen to improve my cheap Sony...

Totally Amazing!

I was recently obliged to update my amplifier as some equipment required optical inputs. I chose the new Marantz PM6006 but felt that to do it justice I needed to upgrade my speakers from a pair of ancient KEF Coda II's which had replaced a pair if...

stunning

I read the reviews, all of which are positive but was blown away by the sound quality. Clear crisp vocals, clean treble solid bass. Driven by the Cambridge Audio Topaz 5 & Cambridge DAC Magic 100 they turn my PC in to an audiophiles dream

Excellent speakers.

These speakers provide excellent sound quality paired with a Marantz MCR611. Despite their small size they produce plenty of bass, but the sound is tight and well controlled. The middle and top of the range are sweet sounding, and acoustic instruments...

brilliant sound. , extremely good value.

So good I've just bought my 3rd pair

The advancement in sound quality over the years now mean that you can get a much better sound from a much smaller and cheaper box. I was brought up on vinyl (1st time around) and large floor standing Wharfedale's that would annoy the neighbours when...

small , bright , quality finish

heard that they are stopping production of these

Great speakers for less than £100

Bought these to go with my second Denon DAB40 unit. The first unit which I bought at Christmas used some old speakers from a PURE mini Hi-Fi I owned previously...thus these were my first 'real' speakers bought on their own. Very impressive quality feel...

value for money , solid build , nice mellow sound , bi wirable/mag shielded

sound quality suffers slighlly at lower volumes

Wow I am well pleased

Used mainly for the TV system, I like to keep it simple so happy with stereo, so the Blu-ray and PVR connect to the Sony TV via its HDMI inputs the amp goes from the headphone o/p on tv to RCA in on the amp then on to the speakers. One remote the PVR...
