REL T1 review

The T1 is a natural for stereo and multichannel systems

Delivers impressive bass extension ; Melds seamlessly with the host system ; Flexible set-up and a strong delivery

Some limited residual unevenness of output makes particular demands on system set-up

Affordable, high-performance subwoofer sets standards at its price level

REL T1

The SmartHouse Team hooks up a small but beefy subwoofer from REL; the T1...and it looks like a golden egg for the company.

Deep fat bass with real control

Nothing that couldn’t be solved by buying a bigger REL

REL T1 SERIES SUB WOOFER

Delivers a nice clean bass sound and also improves the overall sound stage thus generally impoving the sound from my existing hi-fi system. It has introduced a greater reality in the sound reproduction from my system. erall.

The setting up is a bit fiddly and as bass production varies according to the age and type of recording adjustments have to be made on a quite regular basis, (to volume etc, of the REL) or else there is either insufficient or too much bass.
