Two different packages of the RED speakers didn't work. Also purchased a black set at the same time, and there have not been any problems! I guess you need to buy black or silver????

Don't judge these speakers by their size. Amazing sound in a little package. I used these on the golf course. Had to mute them at times because I was disturbing other golfers. Played 36 holes on one charge (My MP3 player died before the speakers did.)...
