Sony HT-CT60

The Sony HT-CT60 is an entry-level soundbar that delivers 3D virtual surround sound with a separate subwoofer for additional bass.

Sony HT-CT60 soundbar review

The HT-CT60 soundbar is one of the longest we've seen, wider even than a 40in TV. It's easiest to place the HT-CT60 in front of a TV but you can also mount it on a wall. Its hexagonal shape might not be to everyone's taste but it means the speaker can...

The Sony HT-CT60 is a basic 2.1 soundbar system with looks that might not suit your tastes. It's also lacking in standout features and physical inputs. However, the combination of its affordable price and surprisingly good sound quality make it a...

no bluetooth remote control.

Good sound, easy set up.

When paired with your phone, the remote only controls the sound on the bar. It does not fast forward, reverse, or pause. you have to do this through you phone.

Get something better

If I could do it again I'd get something that will last, maybe a Sonos.

Cheap, decent product at a low price point. Works well with the Xbox One, easy to set up. The One can control power and audio levels. When I turn on the One it turns on my TV and the Sony Soundbar

You do get what you pay for. The remote doesn't work any further than 4 feet away from the TV. The speakers hit a resonant frequency near the mid-high end. It's very noticeable and distracting, several friends have asked what was wrong with the...

Beyond Par for a Bar

Great sound for a bar. Perfect for apartment living where your going for clarity more than power. I was able to get a refurb model for $60 around christmas time! So far, so good :)

SONY HTCT60

I have a 5.1 surround sound system on my other TV and have this on the TV in my living room. This works great sounds great has full control for the bass treble sound etc. Other people had complained that it wasn't clean, it didn't have wireless sub,...

People should not complain before reviewing items like this. I only had an issue with the post office themselves so I can't knock an egg off. The post office refused to even take the "big" package in their vehicles and just left me a note when I was...

SONY HTCT60

Price was good, Sub $60 and it arrived fairly quickly. Sounds better than TV speakers, I keep the surround sound on all the time. I've only had it for 2 months but it is going strong. I use the Optical input with the supplied cable

Nothing bad to say since it was cheap

Worked great now it has crackling issues

Used to replace the tv speakers and worked great. Great Bass and fairly good mids. The price I got it for made it a great deal

Only lasted 4 months and now I cannot stand listening to it. Have gone back to using the stock tv speakers which are terrible. I am sure I just got a defective unit but now it is past it's return date and I am stuck with a non functioning soundbar

value

First things first. This is a budget bar. This is not a 1000 watt 7.1 surround sound home theater system. So set your expectations accordingly. I have it hooked up to apple TV and any newer movies with decent sound quality sound great, for the price....

Awesome sound. Massive improvement over TV speakers ; Much louder than you would expect from 60W system ; Digital optical input ; Clean design ; Decent base. Not deep, not for hip hop parties, but clean and loud ; System does not require the sub to be...

No "on board" buttons. It can ONLY be controlled through the remote ; Only 2 types of input: RCA and optical. Regular headphone style cable does not work ; Remote has a short range. I struggle to adjust anything past 3 yards ;

Best

I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a good home theater system of less price.

This thing Produce amazing sound and really clear deep bass. It also has very nice and sexy design. The Bluetooth also has really far accuracy. It is also gets very loud and still throw good bass. I also own and Bose 5.1 home theater ($1800) which not...

Just little heavy ( I might be wrong cause I think I have got it on stud on my wall)
