Don't Buy - Will Be Returning

For those who listen to rap or r&b with heavy bass, these speakers will suffice; otherwise, I'd look elsewhere. My current inexpensive Logitech speakers are hooked back up and I'm enjoying normal sound quality again for my music. I'm going to return...

Attractive speakers; lots of sound without distortion at high volume levels; better than existing speakers for first-person gaming (especially gun shots)

Too much bass with no control to adjust it; cheaply made from Malaysia; short cable distance from speakers to pc (but this is getting to be the norm with many speaker sets sold today)

Good, but not excellent

The speaker is very stylish and looks a very good piece of your office interior. The sound quality is great at normal volume. While connected to Walkman or VAIO, you should turn off every Bass controls that your unit has got. Otherwise, the sound seems...

Stylish ; Powerful bass ; Long cord

Too much bass ; No Bass and Treble control

Great speakers, nice looks.

A great value package for Sony, includes the looks you've come to expect as well as good sound. I was satisfied with this purchase.

The sound on this speaker system is very clear and the subwoofer performes great at normal volume

At maximum volume, or when maximizing volume using computer controls, it is possible for the subwoofer to distort somewhat

Good sound, poor build quality

Good sound but lacks the build quality to ensure value of money in the long term.

These speakers have a really good sound for the price, the bass is strong and undistorted while the mids and highs are clear. These do hold their sound even when played quite loud

Poor build quality, the volume control is very small and fiddly, and the audio jack produced too much distortion to be worth using. The connector plug that powers the speakers and takes the input from the 3.5mm jack broke off within a year

Poor subwoofer

This is my second set of these type of speakers and the subwoofer always begins to buzz and make bad sounds after a few hours of playback. Satellite speakers are good but the sound is bad at high volumes. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone....

Good satellite speakers; design

Extremely poor subwoofer

The speakers look very nice and sound alright

I bought these thinking they'd be an excelent buy, being from sony and all. Sony's usually been reliable. And although the small speakers look appealling they also look relativly cheap. The sub was the reason i purchased this set and it rattles...

The small speakers have an awesome sound

the Sub sounds horrible

Good stylish speakers

The speakers give out great sound. Sub is a little soft, but overall sounds decent. The down side of the speakers is that the stands are plastic not glass. I would have found this set better with glass bases on the speakers.

Good sound

Stands are plastic not glass
