Sony SRS-T33 series

The SRS-T33 speaker is appropriate for budget-conscious travelers who want a way to listen to their tunes in hotel rooms and other small, stereo-less areas.

Sleek, ultraportable design; five available colors can be coordinated with Sony's flash MP3 player line; built-in kickstand; inexpensive.

No AC power option; no integrated volume control; might not be loud enough for some tastes.

Sony SRS-T33 Compact Portable Speaker

The Sony SRS-T33 and SRS-T88 are small, lightweight, one-piece stereo speakers that can be operated as active or passive systems (that is, with or without external power). Both produce undistinguished, bass-shy sound and generate some of the lowest...

SRS-T33 - Tiny; low price; offers both battery-powered and unpowered passive-mode operation; rugged construction; hard to drive into distortion. SRS-T88 - Can run on batteries, with an AC adaptor, or unpowered; compact lightweight one-piece design;...

SRS-T33 - Batteries not included; no volume controls; extremely low output levels; little bass. SRS-T88 - Little bass; low volume levels; distorts easily.

The SRS-T33 is an inexpensive but solidly built one-piece system that lacks bass and produced volume levels that were almost too low to measure. We can recommend it only to someone who needs an exceedingly small, inexpensive, battery-powered speaker. ...

Sony SRS-T88 Compact Portable Speaker

Bought this as an add-on to my iPod for when I'm travelling. I discovered that I also like to connect it to my laptop for better sound. Powered sound is good, considering such a small device. At maximum volume I was afraid I was disturbing people in...

Small size; works on batteries, ac adapter or even with no power.Small dimensions, weight. Ideal for carrying it around

A little on the pricey side.Speakers cannot be individually oriented, like in other Sony models

Perfect for my notebook and mp3/mp4 player. Without turning on the power it can still deliver loud and good quality sound. I can also turn on the power to boost weak sound. The only complaint is the tight active/passive switch. It gets stuck in a...

I use it strapped to my bicycle. This is a very inexpensive and portable way to share music with friends, but not powerful enough for a party.

portable, loud enough, inexpensive, pretty good design

lots of distortion on high volumes

The SRS-T33 is great for someone on the run that wants to listen and share their music from either their MP3 player or Laptop with poor speakers. The bass gets a little distorted, but otherwise the sound is great. The battery life is horrendous (6-9...

The speakers are used primarily with an iPod and have great sound quality. I considered buying the Altec Lansing setup for the iPod but it was too expensive and physically larger. I am extremely with the Sony product and would highly recommend it to...

Great Sound quality considering size

Sony SRS-T88 Compact Portable Speaker

I would highly recommend this item to anyone who is on the road and must keep the amount of wieght to a minimum. Especially for those who travel with lap tops and who can relate to the hasels of carring your speakers with you. Not only does this item...

Compact and small is the key to the desirability of this product. The overall quality of the sysytem is excellent. The batter and power cord adapter features was the bigeast reason for purchase

It is only as good and the output system to which it is attached. For a lap top or other computers, as well as other audio systems the ouput quality will depend on the ouput system

Sony SRS-T88 Compact Portable Speaker

My product research for portable speakers yielded any number of glowing reviews of speakers that "sound great!" and are "not tinny!" and so forth. Have you ever noticed that audio quality is not something you can trust others to judge? I was expecting...

Sony SRS-T88 Compact Portable Speaker

This is a great product. It is a stop up from the SRS-T77. This product is a little bit thinner and longer. It is a better design that the SRS-T77. It sounds great for a portable speaker. You can even use this to watch movies in a small room with a...
