Sony SRS-ZR7

The Sony SRS-ZR7 speaker delivers a crisp, rich wireless audio experience—but its real strength lies in its versatility and connectivity.

Powerful audio performance with rich bass and crisp, sculpted highs. Adjustable EQ (via app). Can stream via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Excellent connectivity.

No cables included for any of the various ports. App design is a bit clunky.

If sonics were your one and only priority in this price range, it would be hard to tell you that the SRS-ZR7 is the best you can do—the JBL Xtreme, the Marshall Kilburn, and the Libratone Zipp all offer more robust bass response and plenty of high...

Sony SRS-ZR7 Review

It is compatible with Google Assistant.

The companion app is clunky.

The Sony SRS-ZR7 is expensive and ranks poorly for sound quality and ease-of-use.

Sony SRS-ZR7 review

This versatile speaker/soundbar is let down by average sound quality

Sleek design ; Organised sound ; Handles treble and midrange well ; Spacious sound stage

Lacks detail ; Could be more dynamic ; Not enough punch in the bass

This speaker has a sleek design and is very versatile, but doesn’t have the sound quality needed to make the most of it

Sony is mixed bag these days. With recent products ranging from great to grim, there's no knowing what sort of quality you're going to get. The Sony SRS-ZR7 feels like a high-end wireless multi-room speaker, but will that translate into top-notch sound?

Bought it about 3 weeks ago. The shape and style means it fits in unobtrusively in most rooms, which is what we wanted. The sound is impressive for the size, especially mid and upper range. We play mainly classical so it took quite a while in the shop...

Small but potent

I bought this speaker to enable my multi -room ability, sitting along with my CMT-SX7B Home Audio System. I have been really impressed with the ease of connectivity between the 2 components, and the quality of sound from this very small unit. It fills...

Great sound but difficult to connect to

purchased this 3 weeks ago and have mixed feelings. When it works it is a great sound but connection is difficult and intermittent. Well built and a quality made product, but just wish the connection was more reliable and easier. I have a Bose WiFi...

Sony SRSZR7W

Versatile & surprisingly good depth of sound. Loads of inputs & seamless to use if you're used to Chromecast.

The external power brick is unsightly, could do with a plug adapter.
