i have tried nearly nearly all tiny speakers as well as larger ones. the Foxl (i have v2) just puts them all to shame. the highly rated Altec Lansing Orbit sounds like a cheap toy compared to the Foxl. the Foxl is not cheap, but it is the best...

I actually own the foxLmb which is identical to this model except mine has Bluetooth for music streaming (OK for non-critical listening, some static) and a built-in mic for using with my phone for hands-free and conference calling. It was worth the $50...

Amazing size for the size

I take it with me most every place I go.very portable. Be careful around water or sand etc. Something that has not been mentioned. It has better sound and volume when using with iPod it you use a sound dock. Connection far superior.

Size. Sound Quality. Fair price

Four connection holes poorly marked. On-off switch hard to use

Amazing sound! I have tried 12 different portable speakers with my MP3 player. This one amazed me. No other portable speakers will sounds as good. Plenty loud enough to fill a large room with music, maybe even loud enough to host a hotel room party

High cost. Disappointing Bluetooth sound quality. Silly little felt travel pouch (a nice case would be expected at this price point)

At the beginning of the Cnet review, the reviewer says:

Confused by Cnet Review: Review first advises to pay the $50 extra for wireless connectivity

Confused: The last sentence of the Cnet Review then advises not to pay the extra $50 because they only work well when connected by wire
