Today we have the chance to look at the Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler. Yes V8 in engine V8. Well it's not really an engine, but its pretty dang powerful like a V8 engine is. This award winning cooler offers four modular fin sets which have a total of ...

- Could be too large for some cases
The Cooler Master V8 is by far the best performing cooler we've reviewed on this test system. It offers such a unique design and provides a whole ton of features. The PWM and VR Controller combined help give the V8 its powerful cooling performance. ...
Cooler Master's V8 CPU cooler offsets a somewhat time-consuming installation process with near-record-setting performance for an air cooler. The sleek aluminum cooler's 12cm fan sits between two heatsinks on the device, sparing fingers from the ...

Not that much of a cooling difference between low and high fan speeds
The 16-centimeter-tall V8 emits a slight red glow when you power up your machine. You adjust the speeds of the included fan using a knob that you can secure to your PC using an included PCI bracket. At its lowest setting, the cooler easily outperforms ...

Removal of the fan was easy, giving users the ability to clean the CPU cooler, Instruction Manual was easy to understand on the installation of this unit and was printed in 18 different languages, A solid sturdy design
The CPU coolers mounting nuts were a little to large to use with the coolers retention plate forcing me to use a pair of needle nosed pliars to properly tighten the cooler. Smaller nuts could have been used to make install a lil' easier., The speed ...

**Used Antec Formula 5 Silver Thermal Compound** I have a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 case and this thing fits perfectly inside with plenty of room to spare. Too much or too little thermal paste will greatly impede the heat transfer from your CPU, so unless...
My CPU temp was running around 42C under no load and about 50C with a medium load. Now I haven't seen my CPU get anywhere near 40C! This is definately worth the money. Plus, this cooler is i7 and LGA 1366 ready
NONE
This cooler is OK. It keeps my i7 920 OC'd to 3.2GHz at about 45 degrees Celsius idle. Don't expect a speedy response from Cooler Masters.
Looks Great. Solid construction. Comes with everything you need (almost, see cons) Not as hard to install as everyone said
Mine did not come with the 1366 brackets (only the back plate). So a week after emailing Cool Masters customer support and filling out the online form to have one mailed to me, still no answer/response. "Still under review" it says. So I purchased a 1366...
Love this item wouldn't trade it for your sister. Everest Ultimate stability test - never got hotter than 45 degree's while OC'd :) Im stoked
This thing is Wicked ; Before ; Idle CPU temp: mid 40s ; 100% Load: high 50s ; After ; Idle CPU temp: Mid 30s ; 100% Load: Low 40s ; This is with my OC'd AMD 770 BE and unlocking the 4th core running @ 3.3ghz ; I also want to note that my case has horribl...
Install was kinda difficult doesn't allow my OCZ reaper RAM to fit in the first channels had to use 3 & 4 because of space ; This is on a MA770 Gigabyte board ; This is a very big fan / heatsink make sure you have space
