Today we are looking at the Noctua NF-P12 120mm Fan. You would think it's hard to get excited over another fan on the market but how wrong you would be.
Noctua, in translation the "little owl", is somewhat of an interesting sighting in an IT world dominated by either American or Asian companies. Based in Austria, the company has chosen itself a name that has a history of its own and suggests nothing ...
The NF-P12 is some piece of work and this is obvious from the minute you lay your eyes on it to the moment when it gets locked away into a PC chassis to be forgotten. With a very distinct color theme and design, the fan provides a glimpse at the ...

Super quiet and moves TONS of air. Noctua is quality. Great bearing in it too ;

Probably the best air cooling you can get

The higher static pressure created by using more blades ~should~ be better at pushing air though dense heatsink fins and case fan mesh. Any tests I've done are purely subjective, but it seems they push a bit more air through at the same level of noise as...
High air flow, high static pressure (I'm trusting their claims, since I have no way to test this), low noise ; Curiosity was to blame when it came to purchasing a $24 case fan, thinking back, I'm not sure how I justified it. Noctua is one of a few compani...
Expensive relative to other 9-blade fan options, which are already pricey. It's a $24 case fan, come on
The NF-P12 has been specifically developed for applications such as CPU coolers that demand superior pressure and airflow performance. Thanks to psychoacoustic optimizations like the Vortex-Control Notches, the SCD drive system and Noctua's premium-grade SSO-Bearing, the NF-P12 achieves exceptional quietness and long-term stability.
