REVIEWS: APACK ZEROtherm ZEN FZ 120 CPU Cooler (23rd May 2008)

By Chris Ram (tweaktown.com)

Using our trusted T.E.C.C. testing methods, we compare ZEROtherm's ZEN FZ120 to all our previously tested CPU coolers.

Clearly, things are happening in the ZEROtherm R&D department that other companies have yet to discover. Maybe the engineers are eating their Wheaties formulated for advanced engineering skill; to be honest I am not really sure. The only thing I do ...

great

By IceGamma (newegg.com)

great replacement for the stock fan. 10 degree change

really helps my 9950 x4 BE compared to the stock cooler. the stock cooler ran at 45 or so degrees. this heatsink fan dropped my temps to 30s on regular activities like videos or surfing and when gaming doesn't go higher than 35-36

none really, i expected it to be huge, but still fits in my NZXT apollo case

Great cooling, but big

By aguy (newegg.com)

Great deal with rebate.

On my Intel E5300 OC'd to 3.5 GHz, this dropped my core temps at load from 60C to 44C. CPU temps in low 20's at idle

Large size is only a con if it doesn't fit. This fits my Antec Solo with a gigabyte EP35-DS3R MB just fine. The closest RAM slot will be a tight fit if I need to use it, but I think it will squeeze past
