Apple iPad Pro Tablet Review

Big – Bigger – iPad Pro! The iPad Air is huge and for the first time has the stylus functionality. The Apple Pencil is mainly designed for creative users. The Californians have also equipped the tablet with the fastest SoC you can currently get in a...

great design and build quality, very good stylus (optional), fast SoC, excellent display, great speakers, very good runtimes

scaling of iOS, weak and hot power adaptor, long charging times, no NFC, only LTE Cat. 4, expensive accessories

Even though many users think that it is an affront that Apple has developed a large tablet and even a corresponding pen, the result is very convenient. The Californians certainly did not reinvent the device class, but once again, they have managed to...

Apple iPad Pro 9.7 Tablet Review

Smaller, yet powerful! With the smaller 12.9-inch sibling of the big iPad Pro, Apple also offers a strong competitor to the iPad Air 2. We have already reviewed the elegant power tablet with the iPhone camera. Even though it is once again an exemplary...

very good display, stable Wi-Fi, Apple SIM (eSIM), great GPS module, good speakers, good battery runtimes, fast SoC

NFC only for Apple Pay, power adapter is too weak and gets hot under load, storage of the 32 GB version is slower, no quick-charge, long loading times, high price

Apple once again offers an excellent product with the iPad Pro 9.7, which convinces with familiar virtues and suffers from old quirks. We get a great display, good battery runtimes, best cameras in a tablet, eSIM support, optional support for the Apple...

Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro review: Smaller tablet packs a powerful but pricey punch

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro's enhanced display, new camera and sheer horsepower make it ideal for creative users. But it's an expensive device when kitted out with the upgrades and accessories a professional user would require.

A9X processor delivers impressive performance ; Brighter, more colourful display ; 12MP front camera, with 4K video recording ; 10 hour+ battery life

Expensive ; Lacks USB port and SD card slot ; Requires expensive accessories to function as a laptop ; Only 2GB of RAM

9.7-inch iPad Pro review: Hits the sweet spot between size and price

A funny thing happened while I was reviewing the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. I forgot my computer at home and only brought the iPad to work. This wasn't intentional. I'm not doing the “Can the iPad Pro replace my laptop?” challenge. I tried that briefly with...

Weighs under a pound, and smaller size is easier to use away from a table ; Supports Apple Pencil ; Shoots 4K video

Less RAM than the bigger version, but real-world performance is barely affected

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro more portable, takes better video, adjusts your screen's color temperature to match your surroundings, and generally does everything the bigger iPad Pro can do, only for less money.

Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch review

Apple's 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the best tablet you can buy.

This new iPad Pro (or should we just call it the iPad 7?) is a fantastic upgrade on the inside, and has a few outward charms, as well. It looks nearly identical to the iPad Air 2, but its four speakers are a step above its predecessor, and can actually...

Apple iPad Pro (9.7 inch)

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the most powerful Apple tablet you can comfortably carry, but it can't replace a traditional laptop or 2-in-1 for the most common business tasks.

Fast. Top-notch Pencil stylus and keyboard accessories. Loud speakers. Great-looking screen.

Expensive. iOS apps fall short of Mac and Windows apps in traditional business functionality.

Comparisons and Conclusions The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is more powerful than the iPad Air 2, but I'm having trouble justifying the increased price for most buyers. For $499, you can get a 64GB iPad Air 2 with similar size, shape, and performance. The Pro's...

iPad Pro 9.7 review: Apple's best tablet, but it won't replace a laptop

The iPad Pro raised some eyebrows when it debuted last year, but it really shouldn't have. Although tablet sales as a whole have been tanking, sales of tablets with detachable keyboards have actually grown. Is it any surprise, then, that Apple built a...

Fantastic screen ; Slim design with excellent build quality ; Strong performance ; Best iPad camera yet

iOS still isn't great at multitasking ; Only has half the RAM of the larger model ; Optional keyboard is cramped

Calling it a full-blown laptop replacement is a stretch, but Apple's new 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the best conventional tablet the company has made. It combines the power of the original 12.9-inch iPad Pro with the thin frame of the iPad Air 2....

iPad Pro 9.7 review: damn the torpedoes

"We believe that iPad is the perfect expression of the future of personal computing." So said Tim Cook at the introduction of the new iPad Pro 9.7 last week. It's exactly the kind of phrase you...

Fast! ; True Tone display ; Great camera

Expensive ; Smart Keyboard needs some work ; Reach slightly exceeds its computing grasp

Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch silver, 32GB

But if I already had an iPad Air 2 , I'd hold off unless I really needed the drawing features enabled by Apple's excellent Pencil stylus (sold separately for $99, £79 and AU$165).

The new iPad Pro delivers a fast processor; a bright, antireflective display; support for Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard accessories; better, louder speakers and top-notch cameras, in the same exact body as the iPad Air 2.

A higher price, plus expensive accessories. Less RAM and a slightly slower processor than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. iOS still limits overall flexibility of this iPad.

It's still not a full-fledged laptop killer, but the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro is the best iPad ever made -- a near-perfect balance of tablet power and portability.

Apple iPad Pro 9.7-Inch

The original iPad Pro helped tablets evolve beyond mere consumption devices, thanks to its desktop-grade A9X processor and powerful Apple Pencil for creative professionals. But not everyone wants a huge 12.9-inch screen . The iPad Pro 9.7 inch...
