Bittertasting

The size is a little much, but easy veiewing nice sized interface, easy reading, not much at all for storage my little archos 9 has a 500 gig drive so that will spoil you. it is a little faster than the archos the screen is alot more responsive, had some trouble with webpages with flash. (HID) support is almost non-existent and that is a very important issue for me. I like my Headset and usb cam, for video conference. I think notioninks on the right track with the adam we will see.

Responsive, Easy to use

A bit slow on some appz, Web browsing loads flash slow, Limited compatibility, Limited storage, Poor software bundle

Ipad...great...it will evolve into the computer of the future!

The Ipad is a great instrument. Computers of the future will go this way! Great working tool and playing tool. I don't have to keep going to my Mac for information. Anywhere in my house (at the dinner table, watching tv, sitting reading, etc.) Ican use my Ipad to get Email, check on information I read in the newspapers or on TV, Skype a friend, check my bank accounts and so on and so on. Plus I use it in conjunction with my portable Verizon Myfy and I can get on the web just about anywhere. Don't know an address for your car GPS...check it on your Ipad. Many great uses. I love it!

Compact design, Long battery life, Fast, Adequate storage, Good compatibility, Great software bundle, Easy to use

Review Apple iPad 4 Tablet

Apple's new iPad: 3+1 = Retina. Apple presents two new iPads. The Mini is small and the 4th version of the iPad is named "iPad with Retina display". Got it? The question is: do the A6X chip, a better front camera and Lightning interface justify a new...

Exemplary workmanship and choice of material ; Fast WLAN module ; High CPU and GPU performance ; Good display with stable viewing angles ; Very long battery life ; Extensive list of optional accessories

Not very slim and light for a high-end tablet ; Buyer will need to pay extra for LTE and 3G modules ; Meager connectivity ; Increasing the storage space is not possible

Apple has once again left the competition behind in the dust; this time, it is all thanks to the A6X chip. But, have no doubt, the competition will catch up

Apple iPad Review

Same price; quad-core graphics; better camera; LTE speeds; gorgeous high-resolution display

iPads with A5 and A5X processors haven’t been jailbroken; same storage capacities as iPad 2

APPLE DIDN'T CALL the newest iPad the iPad 3 or the iPad HD—just the iPad. And that’s fitting, because while it’s a handsome upgrade to the best tablet on the market, it’s not a huge leap forward. If you’ve used any iPad for more than 10 minutes, this...

iPad Review (2012)

iPad Review - The New Ipad is here and it features improvements that were much anticipated, namely a very high resolution display, a much better camera and support for 4G LTE.

Many were expecting a “leap” from iPad 2 to the new iPad, but although we all want “more”, “now”, the reality is that this is going to be a evolutionary process going forward. This time around, Apple has addressed a few priorities like the screen...

iPad Review Round-Up

Well, the early reviews are already starting to trickle in. We've got David Pogue in the New York Times, Walt Mossberg (the real one), BoingBoing, USA Today, PC Magazine, just about everyone chiming in except Colbert. And just like always, we're there...

Mute Button Going Away on iPad

Don't worry, don't worry, you'll still be able to shut the sound off. We're just not sure how you'll do it and how quickly you'll be able to manage it. But but but, you say, I've spent hours poring over every physical detail of the iPad from the...

Besides a mute button is a bit of unnecessary on a dedicated e-reader/media device with all that touch screen real estate. Instead, Apple has altered the functionality of the switch to be an orientation lock. That means just because you shift a little...

Column: Apple ipad ? The iPad's top ten most annoying faults

?Overhyped?? Apple's tablet PC has been causing wild speculations ...

The bottom line is that with the iPad, Apple has achieved bringing a chic and easy to use multimedia device onto the market. No one is more adept at marketing and, at the moment, no one can copy Apple in terms of easy usability. However, the iPad is at...

iPad Has Video Calling Support and More

It was packed with tons of stuff, but you can't please everyone. Probably the number one let-down when the iPad was at long last revealed was the fact that there was no camera, despite numerous rumors that there would be. Whether Apple pulled the...

The last piece is most interesting of all in that above paragraph because it suggests, despite what we all learned on the 27th, that there just might be the ability to run background apps in the software after all. Of course, it's the camera and its...

Apple iPad 4 review: Marching on

Three Apple tablets in a single year. This is more than anyone asked for and yet, by some weird logic - or lack thereof, not too many for Apple to successfully sell. All fine and dandy, unless you got the iPad 3 - better luck next time if you were...

9.7" LED-backlit IPS LCD touchscreen, 2048 x 1536 pixels; scratch-resistant, oleophobic coating ; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, carrier-dependent hotspot support ; Optional LTE connectivity (data only) ; Optional GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support...

iTunes still required for uploading most of the content ; Reflective screen struggles outdoors ; No standard USB port ; No stereo speakers ; No GPS receiver in the Wi-Fi version ; No memory card slot ; Lack of basic iOS apps - stocks, clock,...

The iPad was not the first tablet but it can claim sole responsibility for the explosive growth of the tablet market. Then the iPad 2 came to drastically cut the weight and double the processing power, and the iPad 3 crowned the collection with the...

Product Specifications

Apple iPad Wi-Fi is a magical and revolutionary product at an unbelievable price and the best way to experience the web, email, photos, and video. All of the built-in apps on iPad are designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large multi-touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can't do on any other device. The high-resolution, 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or viewing photos. With iPad, there is no up or down. It's designed to show off your content in portrait or landscape orientation with every turn. And because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide viewing angle. So you can hold it almost any way you want and still get a brilliant picture, with excellent color and contrast. The multi-touch screen on iPad is based on the same revolutionary technology on iPhone. But the technology has been completely reengineered for the larger iPad surface, making it extremely precise and responsive. So whether you're zooming in on a map, flicking through your photos, or deleting an email, iPad responds with incredible accuracy. And it does just what you want it to. One of the first things you'll notice about iPad is how thin and light it is. The screen is 9.7 inches measured diagonally. So overall, it's slightly smaller than a magazine. You can use it anywhere. And a slight curve to the back makes it easy to pick up and comfortable to hold. With built-in 802.11n, iPad takes advantage of the fastest Wi-Fi networks. It automatically locates available Wi-Fi networks, which you can join with a few taps. iPad also comes with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, letting you connect to devices like wireless headphones or the Apple wireless keyboard.
