In short, the X10gx is a tank of a tablet, a tank I had the pleasure of test-driving in this TabletPCReview rugged tablet PC evaluation

It's rugged and tough as nails ; Great pen functionality ; Easily accessible screen brightness controls

Heats up quickly and gets very toasty ; Lacks fingerprint recognitionand programmable button mapping out of box ; Very expensive for computing power

Ultimately, the X10gx is exactly what it claims to be: a rugged tablet. With its price, it is not a consumer device. But it's fit for the basic computing tasks needed in the field. And thanks to its Flexspace Compartments suitable for an RFID tracker,...

The Armor X10gx slate tablet withstands heat, cold and plenty of water


The Armor tablet is surprisingly powerful, showing that its 64-bit Windows 7 operating system can handle any task you give it.

Good benchmark scores; very rugged against shock; can go underwater

Heavy for a slate-class tablet
