Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX)

The Asus MeMO Pad 7 is a bit thinner and lighter than most budget-friendly Android tablets, but some competitors offer better overall value.

Compact and well-built. Affordable. Runs Android 4.4.2

No 5GHz Wi-Fi. Some bloatware

There's an absolute abundance of inexpensive small-screen Android tablets right now—tablets that lack pizazz, but get the job done and come in at well under $200. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX) enters this fiercely competitive market, armed with a...

Asus Memo Pad 7 ME176CX

Once the preserve of knock-off no-namers, the ultra-budget tablet space has recently become a more respectable place to be for big-brand manufacturers. Amazon's older Kindle Fires, the Tesco Hudl, and the Barnes & Noble Nook HD tablet have all been on...

The same price as a Tesco Hudl, but slimmer, lighter and much faster: it's an outright bargain

Great Tablet

Recently upgrade to this tablet from a Kindle Fire HD, they are night and day. The kindle frequently froze and apps would close. I had to send it back for replacements twice. The Asus Memopad is breath of fresh air. The O/S is very stable and have not...

Easy setup, Stable O/S, Great Warranty

Sweet Tablet

I wanted to bring a low-cost tablet on our family vacation to Mexico and leave my trusty Mac Air and iPhone 5S at home. I didn’t have high expectations considering the price but to my surprise I love the unit. Having never used an Android device before...

It was a little challenging to sync MS Office 365 with the unit. I couldn’t find any decent documentation on-line. In fact, I found information that said it couldn’t be done – which turned out to be totally incorrect. Two MS Office 365 accounts and one...

Great Bang for Buck

If I had to do it all over again, I would. Indeed, I am considering purchasing a second one in another color for my daughter who has been saving up her pennies.

The price is definitely right. I bought this tablet to keep in touch on a long vacation, and it has served me well ; Great camera. Took some awesome shots of the scenery. Not very good at night shots (no flash). My friend with an iPad was jealous and...

As stated above, no flash for darker camera shots, but there is a "night-mode to help a bit ; Some of the built-in apps like Facebook needed updated before being fully functional.Seems they threw on an older standard build, but the apps and the android...

ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7

This was an early anniversary gift for me and my wife. She's loved hers and almost never uses her PC anymore.

This is a review of the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 ; The unit came in a sealed box. Upon 1st boot and connected to my wifi, it did a system update and downloaded all my setting from my Google account. Fast little tablet, screen is crisp and no dead pixels

Very displeased that it cannot see ANY microSD chips. I purchased 2 (two) G.SKILL 32GB microSDHC Flash Card Model FF-TSDG32GN-C10 and it cannot be recognized. I tried an old 2Gb and 8Gb no name chips with the same results. Will use OTG as a work around

Great Tablet for the price!

Could be consider a con to some. (Below) Screen is very good for the price (I think) but outside screen not so good in sunlight. Camera's, Power & Volume buttons could be in better place, Charging port & headphone jack at top of tablet. All in all I...

Price, Battery Life, Speedy, Build Quality, Micro SD Slot, Kit Kat 4.4 ; When I bought this it came with 1 year Accident Damage Protection. Big Pro

Can be sluggish on wake up, 1gb ram, Slow charging, No HDMI, Wireless seems weak
